in 60's Pakistan used to give loan to countries like Germany and it was considered on par with developed countries.

Not even close, in the 60's nearly all of the country was under the poverty line. Pakistan has improved, stop being arrogant and blaming everything on the Government. Our debt is very healthy compared to other developing countries.

I thinks you dont know the history well.
Pakistan was the first south asian country in 60s to send souding rockets do you know that.
Karachi was compared with the most well managed and civilised city that Singapore and Malaysia came to ask the management of modern cities.
Pakistan used to give loans as well.

In the 1960s under FM Ayub's decade of development, Pak was doing very well. Not only was it giving loans to Germany, but also Korea also sent its experts to Pakistan to learn from Pak's economic model. It was that which then formed the basis of Korea's own economic miracle. Had FM Ayub continued, Pak may well have become the South Asian tiger economy. Unfortunately, the Imran Khan of that era, ZAB intervened, took Pak down the path of socialism and confrontation with India and poured cold water over everything.
