About the topic. Can Pakistan survive without US aid the answer is big Yes

Like all other nations Pakistan also has various means to earn money and can very well become a very prosperous nation. The problem lies with governance and priority. If you are right people decidcate to govern country without selfish interest, it is actually going to be easy.

Also it seems that you have a lot of people who do not pay taxes etc and their are people who have lot of money. If they contribute little bit then it will help the nation as well.

The one thing I do not buy is US forced Pakistan in WOT, you always had the choice to say no. You did not say that, you are not saying it today then why blame US?

I completely agree with the first part, but the about the second part: US pressure did exist. Histroy can show you that those who do not agree with the US can not be allowed to stand (read the book: Confessions of an Economic Hitman).

Our former PM Jamali was one man with enough integrity to stand up to the US but he lacked the political mindset. Perhaps this is why he still had integrity left ) and perhaps this is why he is no longer our PM.

See what the US tried to do in Venezuela. They sponsered a coup but the people marched and protested for Chavez's re-instatement and then look at the result. He was put back in power. Unfortunately the US figured out a new strategy: preach democracy and get rid of governments that oppose American views and agenda.

IF our PM can say NO to the US while citing the public's sentiment and support behind his refusal, then there is nothing the US can do to.

The people are the real shield, not US Dollars.

Glad that you brought India into it. Please think through and you will find the difference between 2 kinds of Aid.
1) India does not depend on Aid, means if they stop the Aid our government will still have money to function etc.
2) We are not asking for Aid, against you are going places asking for Aid. (Friends of Pakistan, USA etc). These are dedicated platforms created by Paksitan purely for getting Aid.
3) These Aid's are program specific and India even rejects a lot of Aid. (If someone still want's to give aid why we stop them?)
4) Compare to size of countries your Aid is bit too much. We are 6 times larger than you but aid difference is not even 10%.

India is 3.2 times larger than Pakistan not six times. but our population's size is definitely much bigger than their population. so taking into consideration population and size of Pakistan, aid received by Pakistan is huge and aid received by India is is way much small.
