Here is an article about how a predator crashed in Pakistan's FATA region.
How a Pakistani Village Found and Sold a Crashed American Drone | VICE News
I'll insert important excerpts from it instead of the whole article.

The crash:

"One day, late in 2007, the elder was relaxing in the courtyard of his home when he heard frenzied voices yelling that a drone was falling from the sky.

Looking up, he saw the aircraft moving unusually — jerking up and down across the horizon — until it smashed into a nearby mountain. He ran toward the crash site, but before he arrived, the elder's son and his friends — who had been hunting on the mountain — surrounded the drone and claimed ownership of it, in accordance with local rules."

It was also armed with hellfire missiles:

(I love the mention of the PO BOX. Excuse me sir, if the hellfire hits your house and does not explode for some reason, please return it to this address, Thank You. Govt of USA)

How the Pakistani Agencies acquired the drone:

Then a different tribal leader contacted the elder on behalf of the Pakistani government, claiming they had sent him to buy it. The two men negotiated a price of 10 million Pakistani rupees ($100,000), of which the elder would get 1 million rupees in commission.

After this, Pakistani officials arrived under the cover of darkness, put the drone in a truck, and took it to the army camp in Miranshah. The following day a helicopter transferred it to an unknown location.

Pakistan's own drone program:
Pakistan unveiled its domestically built surveillance drones in November 2013. It has also reportedly been trying to develop combat drones for many years.

A Taliban commander told me over the summer that recent attacks on them have been extremely precise. ( That is after the drones were introduced in 2013 )

Here's my take:
It took Pakistan 7 years to reverse engineer tomahawk missiles. Reverse engineering a drone should not be too hard. The only way i see Pakistan not contributing and reverse engineering it is if they wanted to acquire the drone as a show piece and put it in some dusty museum. Of course they wanted to dissect it, they wanted to open it up and they wanted to see how it works.
Even if the Predator was not completely reverse engineered, Pakistan certainly would have made invaluable input towards the development of CH-3 with it's access to the crashed drone.
The crash was in 2007, it has been 8 years. A sensible person should be able to put 2 and 2 together and come to the logical conclusion.

this is direct procurement of CH-3 from china with Islamic name by Pakistan.
Shame to shame.
I already said Burraq is CH-3, what i am debating is Pakistan's contribution to CH-3's development.

India does not have any "Inducted" UCAV. Pakistan has. Does that make you so jealous?
When this UCAV your's get inducted by seeing it.its just first test it's far from getting operational status yet.

Dude its been with us since 2013 only the missile was tested

Words like testing are used in underdevelopment programs not operational clear your understanding BTW two thing's.

The drone has been operational since 2013 at that time in recon role, the missile was underdevelopment and has just been tested. Get it now?

.
For what we can procure more sophisticated drones from Israel
Even more sophisticated ones from US what's reason of us to get burn.

Ps: It's spelled same not 'Shame':D:D:D
GORKHALI may attend your spelling class :pop:

Did you read my post when I said Non,its whole drone procured from china.Maybe they changed the OS to Window 7 while CH-3 run on Window XP.

Sensors and other electronics must be of Pakistani made as Pakistan made western standard systems in house.

.
There is none mate. Its a whole drone procured from china.Check the chinese blog link.

I am not an expert. But even I were, there is no way I could be absolutely certain that the two machines are identical - unless of course I had inside information. Do you have access to classified data?

Much of the drone is Chinese. The sensors and data link are completely Pakistani, and the engine is the Rotex 912, which is Austrian, not Chinese.

Even though most of the drone is supposedly based on Chinese ToT, it very much does have Pakistani flavors to it.
Work on the Burraq was ongoing at NESCOM way back in 2006-07 as well. My cousin is a mechatronics engineer who was with Nescom at that time & working on such projects. He later moved abroad. A few Pakistani projects some of them including guided munitions were conceived at NESCOM & other national entities before showing up at Chinese trade shows (lack of funding on our end, sale to ahem). One such example is the Burraq. Another is a family of chinese guided bombs ;-)

This is a drone procured from China (TOT), it took so long because you guys were trying to make internal parts to build it locally. The Robax or something engines and internal development of some sub systems (Avionics) like Pakistan did for its fleet of F-7's, and the locally version of the AR-1 missile. So now, it is all "Made in Pakistan" but technology acquired by China and now the entire thing is produced in Pakistan. A huge leap in Drone manufacturing capability and saving of millions of $$$$. Good work!!

This has setup a competitive drone manufacturing industry in Pakistan, based on today's standards. Now this technology and integration can be further expanded onto different Air and Sea based platforms.
Even some of the US agencies use Pakisani drones around their borders, which are very cost effective and good smaller recon drones.

dear fisr make decent engine for car ... atleast aseemble it
then make drones or claim one ..

Awesome point of view, only an Indian can have.
Pakistan's military enterprise will now make an engine so they can prove it to Indian...how could they resist such an offer.
