we have to make payments against the purchases of defence articles from Turkey so it will be beneficial for us to make payment in Turkish Lira but what would Turkey do with Pak rupee ... ???
their imports from Pakistan is not much so how would they use it ...... here at this stage we will be required to facilitate them either by extending them preferential / relaxation terms of investment in local industrial sector in Pakistan or may be tax holiday for Turkish firms involve in importing from Pakistan or export from Pakistan to any other third country

For Investment in local industries defence sector could be one of the sector which might possibly beneficial for both by including Pakistan in supply chain of different defence products form Turkey for global market, another sector which might attract interest in Textile and garments sector of Pakistan (I would say in this supposed situation should attract interest)

Even though Muslims made up about 40% of the British Raj Army, only a minuscule amount were sent to fight the Ottomans because the British knew of the risks. Even those who were sent, their units faced severe crisis of desertions and defections.

The whole reason why the infamous Singapore mutiny took place was because there were rumors within the Muslim regiments that they were being sent to fight the Ottomans.

A large portion, if not a majority of foreign funding to Turkish rebels came from modern-day Pakistan.

If the guy has bought it against Rupee, I don't think that will help Turkey much. But if he has bought it against US dollars, then surely that will help Turkey but would hurt Pakistan.

We are going through a severe financial crisis right now, our foreign reserves are dwindling, US has warned IMF against bailing us out, PM has asked expats to come to country's aid, we need all the US dollars we can get right now and here some people think they are doing Islam a service by buying Liras.

Muslims of sub-continent are a special breed, we haven't changed in last hundred years. When Turks did not want Khilafah we started Khilafat movement, when Turks lost WW2 against British we started Hijrat movement, hundred of thousands of Muslims sold their properties and decided to migrate from India(the Darul Harb) to Darul Islam (mostly Afghanistan). Then Darul Islam did not allow them to enter and hundreds of them died in camps while the rest became beggars.

I love our Turk brothers, but nothing comes before Pakistan.
