Pakistanis blaming hindu mindset for the exclusion in IPL

Believe me ,id love to see pakistani players play. One thing i dont understand is why leave your dignity by giving such satements.I gives an impression that pakistani players are despirate to get into IPL.Well if they wern't chosen they should have said "We are disappointed that this happened, cricket should not be target of politics. "(courtasy indian rabbit),and left it at it.
This is not somthin the Indian public supports. This decision was complety based on profit and loss lines.I mean consider this situation.IPL teams cough up huge amts of money for pakistani players, and then there is another torror attack on indian soil.It is certain that the govt would not want pakistani players in india. As a result the teams owners would loose a lot of money.
Cant even blame the govt when there comments like "we cant even protect our own citizents, then how can vouch for indian citizens"commin from across the border.
In short, take this in good spirit. We all in india will allways love to see pakistani players play

This is common in South Asia. How many celebs you wanna see on youtube bitching about Muslims from India?

We are upset because he played in IPL1, he became famous too after IPL and earned respect from Indians including me. Now I myself regret that I respected him. Iam sure this statement is going to haunt him whenever he comes to India or plays against India.

He was famous before IPL :D

IPL has not MADE any player.

This is simple trash talk. He's upset you guys insulted him, hes venting it out. It's wrong, but as we Pakistanis always say, surgical strikes are not possible. Once attacked, there will be all out war and everything's fair in war.

Then according to logic, are all the Pakistanis responsible for 26/11???? I didn't think so... but ur logic fits perfectly to that...

.
pakistan are 20/20 champs and 20/20 finalists for the past 2 years so that makes them the brazil of 20/20 cricket, so why this disrepect by indian IPL..its like not buying ronaldo, carlos, alves, its a shame bringing politics into sport.

it shows IPL and indian business men hate pakistan and its people and wanted to show them up on the world stage so who here is blaming the people of pakistan of the attacks in india when it was a action of a few....

players of pakistan shouldnt bother with IPL and look else where like england.

Why didn't brazil of 20/20 not participate in IPL 2 even when they were getting paid and IPL taking place in safe south africa.

Bringing politics into sports?

What is so special about him that he has to be picked up because he wants himself to be sold out if he has such self respect he should sit in home period. there is competition there for more then 50 players and he was not deemed fit for the position as simple as that what is the need of bringing religious matter in to that?
Huh so now some cricket auction = war.?

.
There are muslim and christian players playing in the IPL. It would be disgrace to bring religion into this. The most i can say is that pakistani players were not selected because of the uncertainty surrounding their inclusion in the IPL. Yes , the team owners are rich , but they can't go around giving free money to all pakistani players. Who knows, maybe there will be another terrorist attack in india , more tensions between india and pak and all pak players will be recalled back, or even worse , asked to go back.

.
so instead of providing security to pakistani palyers, they will be asked to go back.

It is like supporting the acts of few who are terroists and lettting the go political, manupolated by thugs.

Well with Shilpa and Shahrukh n all coming out that they were threatened, its obvious that the same Hindu mentality he is cribbing about so crudely was in fact behind it all.

He did it crudely but its not that he wasn't picked up. His bidding started at 200,000 compared to Pollard and Bonds at 100,000, thereby by figures alone he was more wanted. 2nd most wanted in fact after Afridi.

He was crude, and probably just speaking trash out of hurt. But he wasn't wrong.

Now are trying to say that it is only the Hindu's which have that mentality? and nobody of other religion have it... how pathetic conclusion is that...
one can't conclude a person according to his religion... there are thugs and good men in every religion...
What I was upset was his generalisation.... and you agree with it!!!!!

Not related to the discussion " sri lankan team in Lahore".

PCB shuts door on Pakistanis in IPL | Pakistan Cricket News | Cricinfo.com

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has ruled out the participation of its players in IPL 2010 and has revoked the no-objection certificates (NOCs) granted to its players.

"No Pakistani player will go to the IPL this time," Ijaz Butt, the PCB chairman, told Cricinfo. "Why should we allow them to go? They didn't pick any of the players and it was an insult to us. Why should we let one or two players go? We will not take this lying down."

Butt's statement seems to have shut the door on the issue, though a PCB release issued minutes earlier held out some hope.

"All NOCs issued to Pakistani players for their participation in IPL 3 stand revoked," the PCB statement said. "In the future if any player receives an invitation for participation in IPL events, PCB will decide the matter on a case-to-case basis after consulting the relevant government authorities."

The decision came after Pakistani players were ignored at the player auction for the third edition held in Mumbai. Of the 11 players in the IPL's final auction list of 66, none were bought by any franchise.

That sparked outrage in Pakistan and led to statements on both sides - including one from India's home minister - regretting the blackout of Pakistani players at the auction. There has also been a warning issued by a regional party in Mumbai warning against Pakistanis being hired by the franchises, but recent reports indicated that Pakistani players could play a role in the next IPL season.

One player, allrounder Abdul Razzaq, has also been linked to two franchises though officials of both franchises deny any specific deal has been concluded.

The participation of Pakistani players in the third IPL season has been a subject of much controversy for the past three months, with some element of confusion over rules and eligibility. It was thought, when their names were included on the auction shortlist earlier this month, that the issue had been resolved but events at the January 19 auction suggest they are taking a new turn.
