Miranshah — The Pakistani Tailban said Friday they were "delighted" Malala Yousafzai, the teenage education activist they tried to kill, missed out on the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) shot Malala in the head on her school bus on October 9 last year for speaking out against them.
After the shooting she was flown to Britain for specialist care and made a remarkable recovery, going on to become a global ambassador for children's rights.
Spokesman Shahidullah Shahid told AFP the 16-year-old had done nothing to deserve the Nobel, which went to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for its work to rid the world of chemical arms.
"We are delighted that she didn't get it. She did nothing big so it's good that she didn't get it," Shahid said by telephone from an undisclosed location.
"This award should be given to the real Muslims who are struggling for Islam. Malala is against Islam, she is secular."

its funny how people interpret secularism with out knowing the meaning of it.

Western praise will make Taliban hate Malala even more. Malala has to find appreciation in her homeland first

An award should be given to a person who has the potential to change the region, undoubtedly Malala can impact the lives of girls in Pakistan.

But the decision seems to be more of a political one which is coincided with west's strategic interests.

Can we know What is the real meaning of Secularism?

u dnt have to ask me there are many sources available.a secular state keeps religion away from administration.a secular person can be a religious person who respects other religions. a secular person just because he respect other person's beliefs doesnt mean that he is the enemy of that religion.like the intelligent person above who said "This award should be given to the real Muslims who are struggling for Islam. Malala is against Islam, she is secular."
a real muslim can also be secular.that doesnt make him any anti islamic.

Since you claimed:

We are interested in knowing the meaning which you meant.

.a secular state keeps religion away from administration.a secular person can be a religious person who respects other religions.

A Blanket statement. That does not hold True for all Religions.

a real muslim can also be secular.that doesnt make him any anti islamic.

Islam means submission to Allah. Anything apart from that, the Muslim ceases to be a Muslim.

So a person calls himself Secular, he is placing someone ahead of Allah. By the definition of a Muslim, he ceases to be a Muslim.

A Muslim can never be Secular.

No sir a real Muslim cannot be a secular sir island is a system with laws for everything including economy crime social life trade and other things and state has to implement them

And in Pakistan only one man deserves Nobel peace price but they will never give him because he also helps and talks about people off Palestine that is Abdul Sattar Edhi
