i was In hurgadha in June this year mate seen the tourist industry myself. hotels were full of German tourists bringing in Euros. Russians as well
this is what i was suggesting that Egypt has a shit load of Euros and Russian rubbels due to millions of tourist visiting the red sea every year.

No doubt, but a population of the size of Egypt needs a lot more of money; it just cannot do with tourism; there needs to be a massive infrastructure for manufacturing, agriculture, just to name a few.
