The efforts have started bearing fruit. Good job.

Although I can't imagine the sorrow of the families of these soldiers. It's like a family member dying twice. First comes the news of death and then months later comes the dead body. Deep and prolonged sorrow.

My condolences.

Good that the strenous and diligent recovery efforts are now bearing fruit. Though the question that will progessively come into the mind of the higher authorities is what is going to be recovered on the site.

Also considering the magnitude of the land-slide and the resultant debris; how much of it should be prudently excavated before creating another instability in the ground and the consequent hazards.

I personally wished that these bodies would never be found, because now it'll bring more sorrows to the family.

My prayers for the fallen brave hearts, and their family

The body must be in good shape because of the frozen state..

That cant be said with any degree of certainty. Considering that the moraines (heavy boulders and other earthen debris) are always at the bottom of a Glacial flow and they form the major part of the mass. There will a great deal of physical damage and crushing. The kinetic energy of a few million tonnes of a moving mass of the mountain glacier is inestimable. Even the physical structures such as the Buildings etc will be mangled majorly. May not be a pleasant sight at all for the Recovery Teams on site. Its certainly a very difficult task for them.

Another example of how the war the two countries fight is so senseless. We're fighting over a barren unproductive land, which can do no good to us except provide a strategic lookout during the war.

Shite, didn't read date, my apologies.

Don't worry Son, your first day I presume? Anyway, you made an impression, you took your mistake (made through a thoroughly thought-provoking post) like a gentleman and for that you earn my respect.
