I am not aware of situation in Pakistan but in most of the Islamic countries women in showbiz by default considered escorts (prostitute) even before any proof or confirmation and believe me most of the women in showbiz are not like that.

Not just in Islamic countries, the western people also think the same about the models and actresses since the lines are extremely blurred...but the only difference is in the level of derision and disgust is much less is non-Muslim societies because most even their normal women also exhibit similar character at least at some particular age ...I can write about a lot of incidents that I observed personally but I don't see a point in doing so, as most of us know that already.
