He is under no compulsion to badmouth pakistan... or praise India.. he is already citizen anyway, and govt cant take away citizenship..
if he wants attention then he might give some statements.. main thing is he is living in that place for a decade(not seeking asylum like some refugee fleeing his country) and is used to the place already. After 5 years of living any place, it feels like home.

Changing nationality is not akin to betraying ex-home. There are millions of Bharatis and Pakistanis who have taken foreign nationalities by surrendering their previous nationalities but they still love their ex-homes very dearly and support their respective countries wholeheartedly at any time of natural calamities.
