Pakistan navy is currently leading the Combined task force 150 against Piracy and terrorism. just because the terrorists attempted to board one of its ship and got mowed down by its CIWS doesnt mean it will pose Jihadi threat.

by that rule even American airline can pose a Jihadi threat. your Naval chief is a moron and was not told about that

No Hypey mian; that kind of scenario is not unthinkable and is not limited to Naval Ships alone. It can easily apply to Merchant Ships as well and has been "war-gamed" in the USA as well!
I know about it since I had a chance to go over that with the USCG in the aftermath of 9/11. Not for nothing that LRIT has been made operational by some countries. Just as the IMAC has been operationalised by the IN/ICG.

I guess he is supposed to ignore the Zulfikar incident even though it was claimed the ship would have been used to target American and Indian ships?

It is good the Indian Military is keeping a watch on these kind of developments in the region, after the Karachi airport attack and PNS Mehran the Indian authorities carried out through checks and drills to ensure no such incident could happen in Indian installations. This is what doing ones job correctly looks like.

Not just American airlines- ALL of them. This is why there are no fly zones in India above high security installations and why every aircraft in Indian airspace has to submit their flight plan to the IAF prior to being given permission to fly in Indian airspace, any deviation from this flight path and the IAF are ready to respond.

I can't believe some members here would actually belittle the efforts of security organisations to keep their citizens safe.
