In India, Autorickshaws are now mostly Piaggio Ape, which are noisy diesel engined three wheelers. I believe rickshaws are slowly being replaced by 4 wheeled small MUV's.

In fact, in south eastern countries autorickshaws are known as "Bajaj"s.
