Today, who knows how much Kashmiris feel for real and how much is just Pakistan stirring the pot? It is a disservice to Kashmiris that - as the doubling-down on this picture episode shows - Pakistan cares more about India-hatred than improving the lot of the Kashmiris. I am not well educated about the war of 1965, whether it was a success or a failure.

Pakistan has done a lot for improving the lives of Kashmiris on our side of the LOC.

Because they were fighting for their freedom from Indian tyranny.

I recommend reading Shuja Nawaz' 2008 book, Crossed Swords: Pakistan, Its Army, and the Wars Within. Part of it discusses in detail Pakistan's role in stirring the pot in IHK in the 1990s, both through its own agents and through its sponsored "freelancers".

Yes obviously Pakistan will support the Kashmiris morally and diplomatically.

Are you suggesting the the insurgency was not locally led? Because if that is what you are suggesting you are wrong.
