He was asked about nukes for Iran and he brushed it off "I can't say about nukes" or something. I can understand wanting to maintain good relations with Iran but it's clear they want nukes he should've found a way of saying that. Something like "With the withdrawal of US from nuclear deal Iran will likely be looking to undo their end. We, Pakistan, would be willing to help negotiate a new better deal between the two countries if asked. Less nuclear weapons the better."

The people who went with him should've thought of this and come up with a much better response than what he gave in my opinion.

Trump whole policy and goals revolve around u.s coming elections,he wants face saving and artificial victory to win elections.His all measures were only limited to talks with no practical implementation at ground level like he met nkorea leader multiple times and falsely claimed that he has reached the deal but neither he has reemoved sanctions from nkorea nor nkorea stopped nuclear and missile development.I think same will happen with afghanistan problem

I agree we should not treat this as a pre mature victory we gotta be careful I understand your concerns brother but DPRK is different from the badlands of Afghanistan,The DMZ is nothing compared to mountainous and remote areas of Afghanistan America will have to eventually leave not just of Pakistan and the Taliban but China and Russia finally getting ground there we must be patient and level headed

I think it was an ok answer. Clearly IK wanted to ignore the question. In other words, don't want to interfere in Iranian issues.

Again that was internal matter of Iran. And what can we say, that do they or do they not want nukes ....?

If Imran sides with Iran and said ' US should value the nuclear deal and stuff' ...? Then usa would be angry .
If Imran sides with usa and said that he support usa and play on their fears of Iran, then he would have made Iran angry which would directly send proxies in Pakistan .
He could only play coy. He did wonderfully by not answering it and telling that Pakistan doesn't want another conflict in neighbourhood .

It was a fastball question I agree the MSM this morning and afternoon before the press conference was gung ho on the 17 spies apprehanded in Tehran and the seizure of British Tankers again a misstep next time IK gotta be careful what he says to western and American MSM journalists I know when he was a cricketer getting into politics in the early days but this is different he is a head of state of 200 million people with nuclear war heads must be careful and prepared when questions like this occur

Pakistan shouldn't care about making Iran angry he's there for Pakistan's interests and right now talking about Iran's nukes would be one way of getting public support, and he's not lying. But he's just discussing it with a news anchor so it doesn't effect the policies discussed.

Lets agree to disagree I think he could've handled it better and the obvious sign of that is he resorted to "I don't know much about that"

Ya I just think it was easy points to score with American public seeing how they view Iran. With Pakistan "siding" with US even though he'd only be telling the truth wouldn't hurt the image of Pakistan in US.

What should have been the answer? Look perfectly fine. No one in Pakistan want Iran to have nuclear weapons, apart from few minion ayutallas who's loyality towards Pakistan are in question anyway.
