That is right, the family went there 3 years ago, and the man in question is still a Pakistani National.

The simple reason is that they dont trust US's words of mouth. As far as LeT, pakistanis bear favorable view for them just bcaz of their active role in kashmir. Apart from that is there any evidence against them justifying the terrorist allegation on them?

US law enforcement do not arrest people on their whim and fancy , they have to gather credible evidence / proof that has to be later produced before a court ....

Yes, you need to look a the reasons before blaming Pakistan entirely,

1. No country of the world, except Pakistan, choosen to train jihadis (now terrorists) against ussr.

2. When desired objective were achieved they were left alone to deal with those mujahideens.

3. No other country of the world has insecure border with terroristan.

4. Pakistan is very important due to its strategic location.

5. US needs someone as 'scapegoat' for its failures in wot, pakistan is the best option due to the reasons mentioned above.

I encourage Pakistanis to be open about their support of LET, that way we can defeat this disinformation campaign against LET.

The family went to the US from Pakistan in 2007. If they (US) harbored such hatred for Pakistanis, these people wouldn't have been able to get there. And then this guy was not talking to just any T/D/H... he was talking to the son of Hafiz Saeed, not about weather, but about preparations for LeT's propaganda!

According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, Jubair received religious training from LeT as a teenager in Pakistan and later attended LeT’s basic training camp. Jubair entered the United States in 2007 along with other family members, and in 2009, the FBI launched an investigation after receiving information that Jubair may be associated with LeT.

The affidavit alleges that in September 2010, Jubair produced and uploaded a propaganda video to YouTube on behalf of LeT, after communications with a person named “Talha.” In a subsequent conversation with another person, Jubair identified Talha as Talha Saeed, the son of LeT leader Hafiz Mohammed Saeed. Talha and Jubair allegedly communicated about the images, music and audio that Jubair was to use to make the video. The final video contained images of LeT leader Hafiz Saeed, so-called jihadi martyrs and armored trucks exploding after having been hit by improvised explosive devices.

In October 2010, Talha allegedly contacted Jubair and requested that he revise the LeT propaganda video, giving Jubair specific instructions. Jubair allegedly revised the video and posted it on Oct. 16, 2010. In August 2011, FBI agents interviewed Jubair, where he falsely denied any involvement with the October 2010 video.

2. Any propaganda for / supporting LET is a crime ? - YES
3. Was the person in question involved in uploading YouTube videos on behalf of LET ? - YES

Now debate on the above 3 points and let me know the reason as to why you are defending this man in quesion.
