Embraer is struggling financially I think Pakistan at any level should look into it.

We are wasting tons of money on steel mills, PIA, HIT, POF why not invest some of it with Embraer?

Maybe Aerodata Braunschweig will be involved? They designed most sensors on board the RAS-72. Rheinland Air Service did the construction works, since they are the ATR specialist.
Aerodata provides support and conversion to many other types of aircraft being used for Border Patrol and Coast Guard. For instance Kazakhstan Border Guard, Malta Air Wing Beech 200/350, Australia Coast Guard Do328,and Egypt/Algeria Beech 1900. So they have a lot of experience. And a runway long enough for the Lineage 1000.

I agreed but right now US is still providing Pak with defence equipment and services which we have paid for and this is all free flowing for at the moment....

Thunder or a mirage cannot engage a submarine anyways.

You will still need them for deep maririme strikes.
