This is an indefensible and reprehensible act. In my opinion there should be a reasonably appropriate enquiry and the attacker should be punished if guilt is established. If the victim dies, the punishment should be commensurate.

Wake up people- this just shows how messed up the criminal/ judicial systems are in both countries. I believe that Pakistan's is even more messed up than India's, but that's not much to write home about is it?

The fact is that individuals have rights - yes even in prison- and the system that protects these is the one we should aspire to.

I wish we had let Pakistan be Pakistan and continued to be India. This is really shameful for the country. The only positive here is that Indian members are not celebrating this as the Pakistanis were doing a couple of days ago. That is the only difference I can see.

You see Pakistanis claiming all the time how Indians and Pakistanis are different people. I have always maintained that to be true. You can see the difference right on this thread, if you compare it with the Sarabjit one.

Reportedly there are up to 800 Indian prisoners in Pakistani jails.....better start thinking for more titles.

And about 300+ Pakistanis in Indian jails (and given the Pakistani logic of 1 Pakistani Muslim = 10 Indian Hindus), I guess you are in more need of the titles

We should make this amply clear to pakistan... their act of hatred will be reciprocated and so will be their act of kindness. Also, I India should not start any kind of inhuman/act of hatred first, but should not take even a second look in retaliating in the same way.
