My cousin who is shia is currently in Medina for work. He has been living there for 7 years now and every time I ask him how he is treated he has nothing but good things to say about Saudis (I asked him because of the type of stuff I read on here). He is a twelver.

Well my experience is little different .. He is living there for more than 10yrz he always say bad things about them (Don't know about facts) I believe every individual can have different ability to judge their surroundings ..
