More trouble is in store for the Kabaddi World Cup, as the Pakistan team has threatened to walkout over the ongoing doping scandal. The Kabaddi World Cup is already neck deep in the doping row and is now being pushed further into turmoil after the Pakistan Kabaddi team threatened to walkout of the tournament.
Alleging unfair competition, the Pakistan team was upset over their narrow loss to the dope tainted US team -- five of whose players tested positive on Wednesday.
While this may just be a case of sour grapes, the fact remains that 18 players have been tested positive for banned substances in the ongoing Kabaddi World Cup. Anti-doping measures among the 14 teams taking part in the World Cup are much harder to enforce now.
With no national or international governing body and with authorities grappling to keep the tournament clean, the 2nd Kabaddi World Cup is heading towards a shameful end.

Saw on news that the number of players of whom the dope test came positive have risen to 27. Australian team has been kicked out of the tournament as 5 of their players are on that list. No Pakistani player is among those 27!
