kisi ne gal kiti tawadey naal,
faaltu wich nachi jaandey ho
i think jana knew the point of the discussion
Coz in India there are public holidays for muslim festivals
Dr. Fozia the Sister of Afia Siddiqi, celebrated Holi with our Pakistani Hindu brothers and sisters
Dr. Fauzia celebrating Holi Festival with Hindu Community as Chief Guest and Hindu Community of Pakistan Assure her that Hindu Community will support the Cause of Releasing Dr. Afia Siddiqui, 19 March 20, 2011, Photo By Yasir Kazmi, Karachi, Pakistan
Oh damn!!! Dr Fauzia Siddiqui does not look good with a red hindu dot on her forehead. Let the Hindus celebrate their holiday, we Muslims should not take part in Hindu rituals.
What do expect when there is so much color on your face? But its hella fun!I didn't know it looked so messy!
You mean you converts should have nothing to do with your ancestors?
But even the Iranians celebrate their Nowruz still? Even Shia converts in Pakistan do that!
Any issues with that too? Do you just want to ape the Arabs, even when they treat you second class or worse?
I dont know what you're talking about but I am not a convert (although I have lots of respect for those who convert to Islam).
I was born in a Muslim family, and so were my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great grandparents, etc... And even the people of Mecca believed in a polythiest pagan religion before Islam, it doesnt mean we go back to our ancestors way of life. By the way, the region of Pakistan was predominately Buddhist 1400 years ago, not Hindu.
And most Pakistani Muslims cant even trace a non-muslim in their family.
This is a Hindu holiday and Hindus of Pakistan, who make only a little more than 1% of Pakistan's population, have every right to celebrate their holidays and practice their beliefs, but dont drag the rest of Pakistanis into it.
All Gujjars are converts at some time after the Islamic invasions..
Because they have lost their culture and religion and adapted another one.
There are millions and millions of Rajputs, Jats, Gujjars in India who refused to surrender to the invaders and convert. They are all still proud Hindus, not fake Arabs or Persians or Central Asians.
Says who? Even before the independence of Pakistan, Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Muslim area and before Islam Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Buddhist area. Hindus were always a minority in Pak Sarzameen and will always stay a minority. The whole area was Hindu once. They are living in a land that was always theirs.
You have no business telling them what to do. You don't like them, stay the hell out in the kaffir Islamophobe country you have done reverse hizarat to
Gujjars are a nomadic tribe, well the ones in Pakistan and Kashmir are and there are many theories about Gujjars. Some say we came from Central Asia and migrated to the subcontinent, some say we are the original inhabitants of Punjab. Whatever we maybe, all Muslims at one time or another converted to Islam even Arabs, Afghans, Persians, Kashmiris, Punjabis, etc..
You mean they finally saw the light and saw the truth.
The Jatts of India are mostly all Sikhs. The Jatts of Pakistan are mostly Muslims. The Gujjars you have in Rajasthan and in southern India are nothing like us Gujjars of Punjab and Kashmir. Sorry but we dont speak any dravidian dialect, we are nomadic tribes in Punjab and Kashmir..mostly farmers and landlowners. The Gujjars of Punjab are proud Punjabi Pakistanis and we are more similar to rest of Punjabi Pakistanis than you have in India. The Rajputs of Pakistan are also proud Muslim Pakistani Punjabis. We dont like to be affliated with indian bharti culture. You will see us Muslim Gujjars, Muslim Jatts, and Muslim Rajputs in the Pakistan Army defending Pakistan from India since 1947.
And yea Muslim leaders are our heros from Muhammad Bin Qasim to Aurangzeb to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We Pakistanis thank these Muslim leaders in our prayers every day.
Says who? Even before the independence of Pakistan, Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Muslim area and before Islam Pak Sarzameen was a predominately Buddhist area. Hindus were always a minority in Pak Sarzameen and will always stay a minority.
I am Pakistani and have land and property in Pakistan. Whatever happens in Pakistan is my business. Why dont you go back to your bharati forums and leave us PAKISTANIS alone.
It shows you know little about your own origins.No. I mean the opposite.
Will explain in details some time later on a suitable thread.
Gibberish.
Gibberish again. Jinnah was convert from Gujarati Hindu roots. Iqbal from Kashmiri Pundits. Both were proud Indians for most of their life.
Remember:
"Saare Jahan se achchha Hindostan hamaraa"
"Mazhab nahi sikhataa apas me bair rakhanaa"
I will let you read history on your own.
Raja Dahir, the local Sindhi Hero was a Hindu. Buddhism was also a branch of Hinduism, a Dharmic religion from our holy soil.
Nice try.
