Pakistani flooding could lead to Taliban's resurgence

Isn't JUD already doing that by place Adv. in Local pakistani news papers for their so called charity.

They will influence desperate people into becoming their pawns.

If Pakistan government leaves the flood victims to their fate and if the only saviors for them are charity fronts of terrorist organizations then what else is expected. Sooner than later, these organizations will start recruiting some of them into their ranks. The problem is more real than what people may think here and there is also precedent when such charity fronts during earth quake in Pakistan have utilized the opportunity to swell their ranks.

Well, we should recognize that the scale of disaster and sufferig is so huge that GoP on its own cant do anything. No matter how much efforts they put in , they cant cover everything. i am glad that the global community have done their best to donate and help the needy people, it is time to consider humanity and forget about the politics and what the GoP is upto.

Infact, I suspect you will see a lull in TTP activities until the mess is sorted over. This is a golder chance for GoP to get its act together and make a positive impression among the populace.

Main goal is for the govt to fill in and not give any room in the post recovery stage as well as right now by giving them relief supplies, which hopefully would be done.

My uncle is in Army Aviation and he says they are flying non stop to get aid to the maximum number of people, as is the PAF with C-130 sorties.

Without any doubt, the aviation guys have been excellent. They did remarkable work in the 2005 earth quake, during the recent operations in Swat & Waziristan and now these floods.

PA Aviation guys have been doing extra over work for the last few years and they are flying relentlessly.

The air force fleet has also played their part very well and are in no way less then what the PA Aviation guys do.

These floods have also diminish the remaining propaganda of militants against Pakistan and specially Pakistan army because its Army which is helping the flood victims round the clock and trust me i have visited various camps where Women told me that they were not willing to leave their half damaged houses full of goods BUT the army men (aviation wing) have begged them to be on helis so that their lives can be saved.

These women and men from troubled areas were all praise for Pakistan Army and saying they are saving them whereas they expressed their hate for political administration.

The bottom line is People are not going to buy any propaganda of militants
