ISI trained monkey caught in New Delhi.

December 20, 2007.

New Delhi: The New Delhi Police has released pictures of a monkey which it claims has been trained by the Pakistani intelligence agency, the ISI, to undertake missions which are difficult for human agents. New Delhi Police Chief, H.K. Gandphatrai congratulated the police on this occasion. According to police sources, the monkey Raju (name changed for security reasons) was trained for two years in a specialized training centre in the Pakistani city of Gujjar Khan before being sent accross the Line of Control.

In the last couple of years, a number of monkeys started to break into various offices of the Indian Government. Last year, a gang of monkeys were responsible for stealing classified files from the office of the Prime Minister. Earlier this year, the Deputy Mayor of Delhi was killed by a gang of monkeys. Police authorities said that they had thought the attacks were due to their Lord Hanuman being unhappy with them, but the arrest of Raju has given a whole new dimension to the cases. Authorities believe that Raju the monkey will provide them with critical leads to arrest the other members of his monkey gang.

This has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever read. Apart from the "Hanuman" reference (I never approve of bringing religion into jokes), it was brilliant. Especially "Police Chief, H.K. Gandphatrai", that was very funny.

It's all in good fun.

As for good Pakistani news channels, there are plenty that do a very good job. I have never seen one news report on any Pakistani channel that passes conspiracy theories as investigative reporting. You hear them on talk-shows and stuff, but never in the news. Geo TV may be hated on this forum (hint: it is a defence forum), but it is truly a leader in Pakistan for independent journalism. It is very much like NDTV, except, it does not pretend to be the South Asian CNN.

Why pakistani flag and not Bangladeshi flags???? Shoot...
Love to see them within Bangladesh territory... :woot:

Bangladesh is lucky. Coz pakistan is too far from there. If it was a Bangladesh flag, locals would have loved to get an excuse to make sure the millions of illegal bangladeshis are butted to where they belong. meanwhile would have loved to see long lost sylhet etc in indian teritory.

Totally aggree about the religion joke... We should not go down that road. But i am glad you noticed the name, very few people catch on...

I think it is some joke that originated in some Pakistani forum or news site, which have been now circulated as a true story..!! How stupid if people actually believed it..!!!;) But nevertheless the same story would be hit in india too, you know just replace ISI with RAW new delhi with islamabad rest everything is perfect..!!! ;)
