I agree with you. Even in Lucknow I have never seen a Pakistani movie, neither in homes nor in cinemas.

i suppose the pakistani film industry has picked up only in the last ten years... before that, there were no modern pakistani films that could be known to indian audiences.

but you too will know that pakistani stage comedies were popular in india a few years ago... i used to watch them on rented vcd.

I think all this chest beating is about trying to prove our producers have a market there but the reality is Indian cinema has a much larger market in Pakistan than us.

the shiv sena threat against release of "bin roye" put fear in cinema hall owners all over india.. i hope those idiots can be handled by the courts against doing such actions.
