We've been wanting to create a few looks for Eid ul Azha this year and guess who dropped by to help, Bonanza Satrangi!

Let's admit we're all swamped with options across malls in the country but it's still pretty hard to put together a decent Eid look with just off-the-rack options.

We're picking stuff off Bonanza Satrangi's latest Khoob collection and playing around with few options to create morning, afternoon and evening dawat looks.

We think most of these pieces are pretty tastefully embellished and embroidered, and do not need any major accessories.

But we still have a plan and here it is:

Morning

We're starting the day with a peachy cotton-net number, teaming it up with basic crystals and barely-there nude pink heels.

Dress: Salmon Rose

We're all for keeping it light, chic and no-fuss in the morning to survive Karachi's mad weather moods without looking like a total disco ball.

For the design part, we recommend keeping this one low-key; straight-cut kameez and classic ciggies to keep all the attention on that uber-ethnic embroidered chiffon dupatta!

Afternoon

Would you agree if we say there's a fine line between tasteful and over-the-top when it comes to festive desi clothing? And it is particularly harder to get the balance right when the sun's shining bright in your face at 3pm in the day.

We think this gray emboidered lawn outfit is the right fit for those mid-day dawats!

Dress: Purple Palace

We're keeping focus on wide legged culottes here with an embroidery patch etched at the border and a straight-cut long kameez.

Night

Reds are so full of sheen and make the perfect festive looks ever. No?

If you plan on buying only one item this Eid, get this blood red and matte gold embroidered number that is bound to make a statement even if you plan to wear it without any major contrasting accessories.

Dress: Romanesque-B

To add an oomph, we've picked some matte red lipstick and an off-gold accessory set; cute little statement studs and strappy heels are all we need to complete this look.

Where to buy all this?

  • Get the Bonanza Satrangi dresses through their outlets or buy them online here.
  • Crystal earrings and matte gold studs are readily available in local bazaars and malls; we usually find ours at Tariq Center and Gulf in Karachi.
  • Heels are usually a one-time investment so we recommend getting them off a good shoe brand. Nope not saying you could check out Charles and Keith and Mango.
