I have just find a news that our old F-16s have reached around 100,000 accident free flight hours.

Also our dilevery of new F-16s will be finished by 2007 and that is said by press. This means that they will be running even until 2021~. This is a good news really.

We had recieved lots of news that our F-16s dont even get to fly and all that crap, but this is finalized now that how good we have trained with those F-16s. No wonder why PAF still wants them. :)

Slightly off-topic, but I've been hearing that 2-3 F-16s that were grounded
due to lack of spare-parts were recovered, and the PAF's F-16 fleet is at around 35.

He is trying to say that 2-3 F-16s that were grounded due to lack of spare parts were later recovered, and now the F-16 fleet has come close to 35 now.

But this is just a rumour as he heard from somebody else too. So lets just keep 32, unless it is confirmed by officials of PAF.

What is the tally up to now?

100,000 Accident free hours was a major achievement and a mile stone for the PAF's F-16 Community. The duration period was over 12 years during which the F-16 fleet didn't suffer any mishaps. But obviously since then one or two accidents have taken place.

Surely it is an unbelievable safety record but add to that that it is done with three decades old block15... Would a three decades old F7 have the same quality? But then again. The birds had falcon up upgrade. The birds had their spare parts. And the birds are checked and flown by people that are dedicated like no other. And its average pilots are far beyond the average in other airforces. As said often. There is a reason that IAF Flankers did not intrude Pakistani area during Kargil and Mumbai attack. Their superduper planes could not risk a fight against only AIM9 and canon armed block 15 F16's.

Congrats to the PAF! With a typical training sortie at maybe 2.0 hours, you're looking at 50,000 sorties without an accident! That is a testimony to the personnel and the jet itself. Well done.

. .
congrats, there is no question about PAF's professionalism!

The PAF has inherited it's professionalism.

Cool old certificate. The Christian phrasing at the date probably doesn't go over too well these days! ;)
