Yes they are. This is what was odd, my professor friend went over to some university in Islamabad, they had agreed to sponsor around 30 students to come here in post grad field. You expected some young people, instead we have major and colonel rank students who are in their late 40s. They are getting around $1000/month including free boarding. Some are here now for 3rd year. Wits has a huge specialization field in Geology.
My friend found it so bizarre that all senior army officers are here instead of academics. One said it was because of connections.

there is a entire contigent of your army personel studying at Wits university in the geology dept.

yes, its good to see that but i would like us both to do some joint exercises involving the all 3 services in home and away conditions. Train eachother's forces by using the training facilities of eachother, we have have a pretty rich war time experience and the 15 years experience in WOT that can help South Africa. We can also sign a MOU for officer exchange thingy by which u can monitor more abt our current operations against terrorists or just sending military observers through yr embassy in islamabad etc. We can also train yr intelligence agencies as well which might make them more efficient by making them learn from our experiences etc etc.

We can even do some massive military exercise involving 3 services from both sides and can stimulate attack on eachother to test our wartime skills and preparedness.

Our doctrine is no longer war. Those were by gone days. Our Int works closely with many agencies. Our major challenge right now is illegal immigrants - with 5mil plus inside it is a massive invasion.

Actually Fao guns were produe by Iraqis .. One was of 155?mm and the other 201mm...


The program was lead by a South African engineer (forgot his good name)...


He was also involved with the iraqi "rail gun" project.

I hope he is right as economy improves I seriously think we should equip Rangers and FC with SP Artillery and IFV and Anti Tank vehicle and Man pad Anza II and also MRLs.

IFRs are long in your inventory ... check your Mirage probes... they came from Altas Cheetah.
