Not really our films arent banned in US we are cool with Hollywood movie but i do think shitty sequels of Spiderman should be banned

USA is not our enemy.

Neither is it possessed with us the way this "dehati aurat" the eternal enemy of Pakistan is.

but Bollywood $hit is much better than Lollywood and Pakistan film industry needs competition to improve.

This is a very good development as it would:

1) Help local film-makers grow and fill the void;

2) Encourage audience to watch "original" flicks rather than "copied" ones.

My only CONCERN is that this decision should be taken and announced on a larger level, preferably PEMRA or MINISTRY OF INFORMATION.

The cinema owners are businessmen who are into money-making. Don't expect a very high level of patriotism from them.

The Representatives of THE PEOPLE should make that decision and announce it.

Some Pakistani channels got banned because they did not seek permission. Otherwise there was no ban on Pakistani channels.

You may not like to watch those movies but your friends Turkey and China has no qualms about it.
