. . . . . . . .
where is the sexulization in what I posted?

indeed

Shoot. I was really hoping that I won't be asked this question coz it may open a can of worms but since it has been asked so here we go;

Look at the physical features of this female hero. They could have gone for more realistic looking heavy set female but NO - they had to give her an unrealistic lustrous figure since it is more appealing to the readers. Heroes should be more relatable. Not all females can have such unrealistic perfect body.

The could have covered her up more like most Pakistani females are but NO - they had to make her navel under the wet clothes and bra strap visible.

If this is not sexualization, then what is?

she seems to have a pretty normal body, I dont think females have a heavy set body to begin with, or are you referring to females like from the movie Captian Marvel?
Her figure is not lustrous at all, its a normal figure.
cover up? so she is going out to fight crime and they can make her wear a hiajb and/or niqab. I know this would come to the point of "make her cover up more"
well obviously if she is fighting in the rain or the outside, she would get wet or something, I find it hard to believe that wet clothes can become so "lustrous" and "sexualized"
Pakistani males seriously need to get their heads out of the gutter.

Allah help us all, and make our minds pure

Just reverse the genders
Aurat March has indeed burnt a lot of male egos
that much is clear

Having your own high quality broadcasting for children is imperative. They grow up watching these shows, they pick up values from them, they idolise the characters. We need cartoons which are of high production quality (children are smart consumers, not idiots), they need to be primarily entertaining and secondly created to promote good values and principles, but not at the direct cost of the story line. The entertainment factor is the hook - the moment a cartoon is a lecture and not entertainment, is the moment you lose your audience.

Good ... American cartoons are sexual to some extent , even if you are watching Tom and Jerry you can see a little bit of Romance .... we should save kids from this nonsense

Tell me about it. As a child you don't understand, i used to love these cartoons, now i watch them as an adult and i think "omg, what's going on here!"

Her appearance may be relatable to Indian women but not Pakistani at all.

Females in Marvel/DC are also sexualized with unrealistic figures bulging out in tight spandex outfits but that is western culture so maybe it is relatable to them.

When something NOTICEABLE like a visible bra strap, cleavage, thin clothes etc. is being put forth, it will be OBSERVED and NOTICED. Doesn't mean that every male's head is in the gutter rather the society as a whole is one big septic tank and we are neck deep in shit.

I assume your female right? How can you not think an attractive woman in wet clothes is not sexual? I'm not taking about some poor woman who's been splashed by a passing car and is clearly unhappy about it, but wet t-shirts, or wet clothes generally, around the world, regardless of gender, are sold as sexual. Why? Because the wet clothes stick to you, the accentuate your body, they often become see through and show skin - it's a clear tease.

Now that cartoon, no kids have any business watching that cartoon. Clearly people are being killed by guns and by swords, small children should not be watching that. I know our people have no respect for it, they normalise extreme violence, but I make sure my kids are not watching violence on the TV until they're older. I don't want them growing up thinking it's normal.

Secondly, like it not - the cartoon has been drawn in a sexual manner. I don't know the story, but the imagery is sexual, just like all female "heroines" in western culture. Just look at that picture, she's wearing a low cut top, it's tight on her body, look at how she walks, one leg in front of the other, but her leg isn't in a natural position, it's more central, it's swinging, with her hips. Her dress is not about practicality, if it was she'd not be wearing that dupatta traipsing dangerously around her neck.

That's no different to Tomb Raider or Xena Warrior princess.

There's nothing wrong with a female character being sexually attractive, but it's high time feminists talked about why all female characters are sexually attractive? Where are the plain Janes? Where are the fat girls? When is the last time you saw a female character on media and the focus was on her story/opinion and not her looks?

This half way house feminism is dishonest and will cause long term harm to womens causes. Men around the world are the same. We find the female form attractive. The difference is, some of us are better trained (by society and personal values) to put that attraction aside and continue with our day to day business, whereas others are not. That is not the problem of women - that is the problem of men, and something men should fix, across all sorts of different societies.

However in a predominately Muslim society, we have social norms which both men and women should adhere too to faciliate this.

well, it is her "jism", and hence her "marzi"
I do not have any command and/or authority over anyone's "jism"

your first paragraph makes no sense, If I go according to your logic then all wet clothes should be deemed sexual, how is a poor woman splashed with water different from a one with a wet T-shirt?

she is fighting crime in Karachi, the target killers, kidnappers and specially those that commit violence against women are her targets. So if children find a super hero, there is nothing wrong with that.

she seemed to be walking normally to me, however you on the other hand, have some really keen and strange observation, you have indeed created a sexualized scene from a still picture, I would suggest reciting Astaghfaar and Darood Shareef to clean up your mind.

how did this boil down to feminism? men are all the same? I think not, only a small minority is so dirty minded that they can sexulaize everything they see. Majority are normal and are in control of themselves.

she is wearing a chooridar pajama, and a kurta with a dupatta (thats what I read in the description). This dress is as Pakistani as one can get

Indian woman? Pakistani women dont wear Kurtas, dupattas and Chooridaar Pajamas? what do you suggest she wear then?
I didnt refer to the west, you suggested that she should have been heavily built, only then did I respond with western characters.
honestly, it took me sometime after you pointed it out to find the bra strap, navel and cleavage. And aside from the bra strap I couldnt find anything else you pointed out.
not every male's head is in the gutter, but a minority do have it in the gutter, they have the ability to sexulaize everything they see
