Pakistani and Chinese Americans need to join hands to defeat Vivek Ramaswamy

The American constitution needs to be amended.
1) The candidate winning the the largest number of votes should be elected President. The gerrymandering of districts for garnering Electoral College votes should end.
2) Supreme court judges should reflect the votes cast for each political party
3) An AGREED and COMMON methodology for elections and vote counting across the USA
4) Reform of the Gun laws

1.) Electoral College is bias and fairer at the same time, you can say why the person who win more vote not get to be president, like a direct vote system in the commonwealth (Britain, Australia and so on) but America is based on a federation of states, and each states should have the same requirement to elect a president or head of state, that state parity is something direct voting system cannot provide, because smaller state is ALWAYS going to be behind simply because the population is less, say the population of Iowa is 1/12 of the state of California (3.1 million Iowan vs 39 million California) so if we uses direct vote, then candidate can and most likely will ignore or simply not campaign in Iowa and focus on populous states such as Texas, California or New York, the electoral college system balance that.

On Gerrymandering, yes, that is not a good practice, but then since this is practiced by both side of the isle, I guess that balance it out a bit.

2.) Supreme Court everywhere usually have life tenure, it's not just an American thing, and also the reason why we don't follow political preference, and it should be simply because we believe in the 3 pillars of the government should be separated. The Political Branch, the Legislative Branch and the Judiciary branch should all independent to each other, if supreme court judge reflect the vote for each party, then that party would have a immense domination of the country, which is a big no-no for us.

3.) I don't understand this point. The method of voting is the same between each state, you don't have one state have one way to vote and the other don't that was controlled by the FEC (Federal Election Commission) Vote counting is also the same across the state, the only difference is who can witness the count, but that largely the same because you usually have representation of both parties present in the count. The problem is NOT how the vote count, the problem is some bad loser losing an election and blame the vote counting as biased. Unless you really believe people dump vote by boxes like some lawsuit claim, the system, as both the FBI and FEC said, is fair and no abnormality were ever presented in any voting or counting center.

4.) Believe it or not, gun law is not the thing that you need to reform, mental health act is. A normal person will not decide to go shoot someone or a lot of people waking up one day just because he/she had access to gun. The problem is the people that uses firearms, not the firearms themselves. On the other hand, what can reform gun law do? Most people commit crime does not use their own registered firearms anyway, or if they do, they wouldn't care because the LE is going to know it was you if you use your own guns to commit crime.......

That's not how US Congress work.......

First of all, there are no cabinet. Either Secretary or Committee job. To be nominated as a Secretary of something (like Treasury) one need the POTUS nomination and senate approval. And to work on committee assignment (like house defence committee), one need to be a congressman/congresswoman or a senator. He wasn't either.
Why wouldn't he get a POTUS nomination and senate approval? Wasn't Pete buttegieg made a secretary of transport ?

You do know it needed 2/3 of the senate to approve a secretary position. sure, even with GOP win, would that be a landslide that didn't happen in 2022?? Even the Dem control the senate floor now, they still can't push thru with any nomination because they need 60 votes, and they only have 51. You think GOP, if they win, in itself is a very big if, would get 61 senate seat?

And you are the one that raise that question. Can I say the same about you?

Chinese american are very divided according to when, where, why, how they came from China.

The Chinese will always remember the Pakistani help to China during the 2008 Beijing Olympic torch relay in the UK.

Well, it is and it isn't according to Senate Rule XXXI you either need the complete agreement (Unanimous Consent) on the floor (hence no debate and go straight to vote) or a supermajority (60 votes) to end any debate and affirm a decision

Floor Consideration

The Senate meets in executive session to consider nominations, but may not begin floor consideration of a nomination until it has been on the Executive Calendar for at least one day, except by unanimous consent. Nominations are subject to unlimited debate, subject to cloture being invoked (which requires 60 votes). In some instances, one or more Senators may place a “hold” on a nomination, thereby delaying or preventing it from reaching the floor for further action. Under Senate Rule XXXI, the final question on a nomination is, “Will the Senate advise and consent to this nomination?” The Senate has three options: confirm, reject, or take no action on the nomination. Confirmation requires a simple majority vote. Although Senate Rule XXXI requires pending nominations be returned to the President when the Senate recesses for more than 30 days or adjourns between sessions, this requirement is often waived. Nominations pending at the end of a Congress are returned to the President, and they must be resubmitted for the Senate to reconsider them.

Which mean if you cannot get everyone to agree on no debate, you will need 60 to end it, and then you will need 51 to appoint.

Vivek Ramaswamy TIES Ron DeSantis For 2nd In GOP Presidential Race: Poll

What is the state of the GOP race?

Ramaswamy draws Trump's attention as campaign rises in GOP primary field

He meets the same fate Bobby Jindal. Once upon a time, Bobby Jindal left the Louisiana governor's office nearly four years ago and evaporated from the state political scene after a failed presidential bid. Still, he's a permanent fixture in Louisiana's current governor's race.

for those getting all hot and bothered about this guy I wouldn't worry about it.

He's never going to get the nomination.

Like many of the other candidates, he is essentially running for vice president or a cabinet level position
