pakistani airspace opened for all but not for india

People don't get to India for love of it only.. it is a big market and they need to address it.. it won't matter as there are so many other routes.. at least my german friends say, it is the pakistanis that stopped international travel over them and they don't curse Indians for that.. so perception wise as well, i don't see an issue.. but am a bystanding layman, you should take that into consideration

for me, its annoying if there is additional time to get to destination. i think you are trying to comfort yourself by talking about other routes.. i am talking about the time which is the most important..
but lets wait and see.. its just the start from pakistan.. we never did anything in past 20 years or so. but now situation is different

So it is about me comforting myself? I don't need to... i send enough people to India from my business to know about it.. it is irritating for some routes but won't impact. you should nevertheless proceed with the view you have and we can agree to disagree :-)

Excellent. This is a good idea, and example of the policy of appeasement of Pakistan towards India coming to an end. At some point aircraft originating from India may be allowed, but only from NON Indian airlines. They have to go the long way around. That will mean the pain for Indian airlines will be more than for foreign airlines, helping to drive these Indian airlines into the ground.

We can easily route flights through mumbai, but what about you guys, china se jana padega SE asia
pakistan use 8 weekly flights oven indai bof delhi - bangkok - kuala alampur
india use daily some 230 time Pakistani air space just learn first . we can scrap two routes can you scrap 100s routes ?

We had less then 20 flights from Indian space and other hand India has around 250 flights from Pakistani space weekly.. enjoy the party. It is just started
we use only 8 flights over indai

pia already end dahaka mumbai routes rest are two routes we fly over india bangkok and kuala alampur

South is easy, flights from mumbai and down south can easily avoid your airspace.
All depends on the cost either of us can bare
lollzz so close delhi luknow jaipur even goa flights used pak air space . flight from mumbai to russia central asia afghanistan iran iraq also use paksitan . i think you have no idea at all what are you talking abut

not impact ? its mean you also have no knoldge of aviation . indian airlines were broke in 2001 when we close air space . today all of them in loss this is total death for them . a flight from delhi to kabul was 1 hour 20 minutes operated 4 hours 50 minutes last week . spice jet will not operate it again :lol: every minute fuel is counted

Heard that.... Indian's have banned medicine (especially life saving medicines/cancer/dialysis) supply to Pakistan by Indian companies.... and also asked some foreign medical companies to stop their sales in Pakistan. is this true ???

lollzzzz sir i respect you but you are here doing totally wrong i keep eye on civil aviation and if paksitan block her airspace its loss of billions of $ not in hundreds millions now .
as i said some days 190+ some days more then 200 times indian airlines use Pakistani air space for all gulf -central asia - russia - EU - amrecas flights . you guys just pray its temporary other wise jet airline which been solid for 1 indian rupee no one will buy it even in 1 rupee . air india will survive but indian gov will pay price . spice and indigo go air newly air asia all will effect very badly with this . it is nightmare for airlines . don't argue with me just ask ani aviation expert please.

FYI airlines shut down one engine for taxiway just for 3 minutes and save millions .while you are saying hundreds of flights fly daily hundreds hours for nothing will not effect . its mean you have 0 knowledge of aviation boss. almost all indian airlines are already in loss only indigo having a very little profit rest all of them are in loss .and you are asking to fly daily hundreds hours for nothing will not break them down ?

I agree with you - I do not follow aviation except from economics angle. I actually do know a thing or two about jet airways airline- but let us keep that as a secondary topic. But i do know economics. It will simply cost more time and money to fly to certain destinations from Delhi. Airlines won't be able to compete over it as they simply can't afford to keep booking the losses.

Any source? And there is enough supply of generics across the world that pakistan will not be exclusively dependent on India for it.

it can not cost more as i said indians refuse to pay jet airways meal and entertainment that is why its bit the dust . ther eis no way they increase price otherwise ME-5 gulf-emrates-ittehad-qatar -fly dubai will eat them alive they have subsidy from thier gov on fuel and very cheap with good service . you must know how hard it is for whole damn world to compete with these giants . they can book as cheap as we can not afford hence indian airlines will fly empty . load less then 50% means empty . airline business is very very hard . a small mistake can lead airline to be shut down . just remember how many good airlines shut in weeks shaheen air - king fisher have good fleet and they went out in days . today is era of internet cheap tickets websites been used by travel agents and public don't care service as long as its cheap . most airlines removing business class and making all economy .

Imran, AI and Jet should have been closed long ago! they are fundamentally inefficient airlines :-) They can't compete even if you give them 100mn extra a piece... The middle eastern airlines are simply unbeatable anyways

we need them in market for counter balance once you close these airlines ME-5 will increase the price too and then you have no choice but to pay me5 more money :lol: there is no way to escape from here . me-5 charge to much on routes where there is no competitors

You can't close AI and given the new insolvency procedure even Jet Airways will survive. I expect both of them to go through ARC process after elections.

jet having 1bn$ debt and shear holders + ittehad want to get rid of it . it will survivie if indian gov pay the debt . its allowed in india ? another problem even if gov pay debt its in loss and will be in loss. about AI they don't care loss or profit as PIA . they just fly for sake of jobs :lol:

For someone putting in new equity, the banks will have to write down debts and the company can then start to work again

For IA - it is the same problem a PIA... however, i think govt will have to privatize it and proposals with consultants on that restructuring are already underway. Question eventually will again be political will, as the employee liabilities are huge
