Pakistan wiped off Bangladesh border pillars

Unfortunately Bangladesh of today wants to run away from its Islamic roots. When anybody from Pakistan curses Bangladesh, they do it for Shekh Hasinas open hatred for Pakistan and anti Islam drive.

Most of the people in Bangladesh are true to Islam. Those who are not, still has Islam in their hearts.
Bangladeshis don't hate Pakistan. You can see the proof of it in the recent Kashmir issue.Virtually everyone in the country supports you & our Kashmiri brothers, even the liberals & seculars.
Hasina uses her anti-Pakistan narrative for politics. And she's just one person. She won't be here forever. Then perhaps,we will be able to start over as two brotherly Muslim countries.

The slaves doing things to please their masters while trying to seek attention of their previous master.
What is actual slavery ? Keeping the border pillars or old identity or renaming it to the new identity ? Which group do you prefer? Sycophants of Pakistan , or friends of Pakistan ? You guys should make it clear !

. .
You ill informed Pakistanis are making it another Pakistan-Bangladesh slugfest but none of you are asking the most vital question, that why did it take Bangladesh decades to renovate the border pillars. The answer to that bears some significance and we should perhaps wait for some Bangladeshi to explain that to us..
So basically you are saying you donot know what you are talking about.

.
An unnecessary and unfortunate thread, to spew dislike between Bangladeshi and Pakistani posters.

Pakistan’s name finally removed from border pillars

Forty-eight years after the independence, Bangladesh has completely removed Pakistan’s name from all pillars installed along its border with India.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has removed the label “PAKISTAN/PAK” and replaced it with “BANGLADESH/BD” on the border pillars, said a press release of BGB yesterday.

The paramilitary troopers started replacing the labels following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s order in which she observed that some of the pillars in the bordering areas still show Pakistan’s name.

After the partition of India-Pakistan in 1947, more than 8,000 pillars were installed, in which “IND-PAK/INDIA-PAKISTAN” label was engraved.

These pillars were in border areas of Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Panchagarh, Kurigram, Netrakona, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sunamganj, Sylhet, Brahmanbaria, Cumilla and Chattogram.

People in the bordering areas and those who were aware of the matter were really bothered as the name of Pakistan was not removed from the pillars despite Bangladesh achieving its independence in 1971, added the release.

BGB completed this mammoth task within a short period of time with its own funds, the release added.
