Pakistan will produce Turkey’s ‘Nurol’ infantry fighting vehicles in Pakistan.

Turkey gives ToT (Transfer of Technology) of Nurol vehicles to Pakistan. A HIT (Heavy Industries Taxila) spokesman confirmed Nurol will transfer technology to help HIT manufacture armored vehicles to B7-plus protection levels.

Nurol 4×4 this is maybe EJDER 4X4 Armoured Combat Vehicle. Ejder Yalçın 4X4, satisfies the operational requirements of military units and security forces in rural and urban areas. Ejder Yalçın 4X4 is a dynamic, agile, modular, versatile, easy care and low maintenance combat vehicle having high ballistic protection including mine blast under all environmental conditions and off-road


By its high payload capacity up to 4 tons, various types of weapon systems and payloads can be integrated to Ejder Yalçın 4X4. Ejder Yalçın 4X4 is an ideal platform for various applications such as “Reconnaissance”, “Command and Control” and “Homeland Security”. Ergonomic design makes operations easy.

Nurol Ejder

Ejder ("Dragon") is a 6x6 wheeled armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed in Turkey. It began as a private venture in 2006 but proceeded quickly with 27 units delivered to Georgia in 2007.[1]
Description[edit]
The Ejder (dragon) armored personnel carrier, was developed by Nurol Makina, a Turkish defense company as a private venture. It is worth mentioning that in the mid 1990s another 6x6 APC, the RN-94, was jointly developed by this company and Romarm of Romania. The RN-94 was not accepted to service, however Nurol Makina used some experience gained from that project developing its own APC. Georgia purchased a number of these APCs in 2008.. In some versions it carries a Fiat 25mm cannon.[2]

Protection[edit]
Armor of the Ejder protects against 7.62mm armor-piercing rounds, while frontal arc provides protection against 14.5mm rounds . This armored personnel carrier also has a V-shaped hull for improved protection against landmines and IEDs. It can withstand the blast from an 8 kg mine. Protection can be enhanced with modular add-on armor. The vehicle is fitted with anautomatic fire suppression system, however NBC protection is only offered as an option.

Armament[edit]
This APC can be fitted with a number of remotely controlled and turret-mounted weapon stations. Baseline vehicle is fitted with remotely controlled 7.62-mm machine gun and 40mm automatic grenade launcher, however Ejder supports up to 90mm weapon systems.
