Thats the thing. India poverty rate was 37% in 2005. India halfed its poverty since 2000 to 22%. The dates look fishy.

If you check GDP nominal Per capita. it sates India has $1303 same like Pakistan. We had that in 2005. Now Pakistan still has the same GDP. India now has $1,808 India has improved. Pakistan has stagnated.

.
Whats the date for the data. World bank data for 2005 is 21% as you say but its increased since then and India has decreased. Latest info from your media:

Over half of Pakistan lives under poverty line: Dar - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Po
pulation live below poverty line
The survey revealed that this figure is according to the World Bank’s Poverty Head Count Analysis 2014. However, if income per adult in Pakistan is taken as $ 1.25 per day, then 21.04 percent of the population falls below poverty line at 2008 population estimates

We have halved our poverty from around 50% in 2000 to 21.9% in 2015. Pakistan was 21% in 2005, still the same in 2014 report. Pakistan has either stagnated or raised slightly.

The position of poverty in Pakistan is better than India and Bangladesh but Sri Lanka, China and Philippine’s are in a better position than Pakistan. The percentage of population below $2 per day in China is 29.79 percent; Bangladesh 76.54 percent, Indian 68.72 percent, S Lanka 29.13 percent, Nepal 57.25 percent and Philippines is 41.53 percent.

Yes you prove my point at 1.25 USD india and pakistan now has 22% at 2 USD India has 68% .

So our poverty rate at 1.25 USD fell to half. But pakistan has the same. Its economy stagnated in the past decade or so.

Anyways in afew years, India will reduce it further. We have to reduce it.
