Pakfa is purely Russian program , its not confirmed yet India did any investment in this project. Right now there is no concrete evidence. Because , recently news published in different outlet, India lost interest in this plane. IAF is skeptical about this aircraft. Russian reduce the Indian financial contribution for this craft from 6 billion to 3.7 billion if I am not wrong. Deadline for India is 2022....wait and see. Sometime Chinese walk in with cash and take over the whole project and Russian love cash.
Plus, MOD taking Rafale as 5th Gen...but still Rafale beat F22 in many fields . Ministry of defence.

What Russia did was reduce the price incurred by India for R&D by 2.3 billion dollars which increased Indian interest in project

Chinese will not be allowed to get FGFA technology because of IPR violation by them.In the recent sale of Su-35 to China, Russia ensured that China will not be able to reverse engineer them by adding new safeguards.

Also even if IAF is dissatisfied with FGFA it has no choice all decisions and powers are in the hands of MoD.

@waz this guy being more delusional.. why would china invest in Ind-Russia joint project... In one post you said no confirmation about Indian investment in Pak-Fa/FGFA , when another member pointed out, you are saying only design... why do you think... china will always do things what pakistan wanted to do... be realistic..

Remember Indian did opposition before the transfer of AL31 engine to China. But , Chinese offer was so lucrative Russians unable to refused them. Now they have AL31 Sat in their inventory. Same engine in Indian upgraded SU30 top of the line aircraft. Chinese love to redraw lines in other business ethics ....its call Chinese way.

Reality is india has already been putting money into pakfa, and will continue to do so in future. India will get pakfa, PERIOD.

Engine and Su 30 is different from 5th gen JET... china is known for copy right violations...

Nothing but talk from the fella. France? What and how? India is in a huge deal with the French. Russia, myself and many other posters have outlined why this is not the case.
The only realistic option is from Jordan.

Actually, France and Sweden may be different due to their ongoing deals with India.But Jordan and Russia will come through. Just watch!

From the outset the aquisition of Su-35 from Russia seems to be a lucrative proposition with all the goodies that it can carry along with its range but given the service history of flankers with India....i mean indians have dissected this aircraft and know its manuvres inside out...would it be wise to induct an aircraft that your enemy operates?????
