Pakistan well-prepared for war: India

A very normal news every country has the right to be prepared for any eventualities be it Pakistan or India or China or Bangladesh non is answerable to anyone as long as it is preparing on its side of the fence then its is not an issue whatsoever & is fully under the rights of the country i support preparedness it is recommended to act as a deterrent, it actually can stop a war from happening thus leaving the scope for peace open rather then war

a few examples
1) Had Pakistan been well prepared in 1971 specially on its eastern front then chances would have been of it avoiding the 71 war

2) had India been prepared on its northern zones in 1962 then chances would have been of it avoiding the 62 war

3) had Libya not submitted its nuclear power for a few bucks chances would have been of it avoiding the recent 2011 Nato led war in Libya

4) both the U.S & Soviet union were prepared for war thats why they dint have a war

Fearing retaliation from India after the 26/ 11 attacks, Pakistan went on an overdrive in constructing defence mechanisms such as bunkers, outposts and observation towers on its side of the border with India.
The Indian government has released figures to Parliament pertaining to the construction undertaken by the Pakistani government on its side of the border between November 2003 - when both countries declared a ceasefire - and December 2011.
The figures show that compared to 63 bunkers constructed by India in 2007 and 85 bunkers in 2008, Pakistan constructed 133 bunkers in 2009 and as many as 159 in 2010.
Till the October end this year, Pakistan constructed another 119 bunkers. It also doubled the construction of observation towers on the border in 2009, erecting 48 new towers in 2009 compared to just 24 towers in 2008.
The construction of outposts by Pakistan went up from 34 and 54 in 2007 and 2008 respectively to 67 in 2009.
Leaked US cables on WikiLeaks had earlier revealed how Pakistan had complained to the US that India was preparing for war after the 26/ 11 attacks and had mobilised forces on its border.
In her recent book, No High Honours, then US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice has also said Pakistan pressed the panic button after the 26/ 11 attacks and called everyone from the Chinese to the Americans, saying India had decided to go to war.
The Indian government in fact says that Pakistan has constructed a total of 856 new bunkers, 261 morchas, 378 observation towers and 143 border outposts on its side of the border since both countries declared a ceasefire in November 2003.
“The government has seen reports that Pakistan has constructed and carried out repair of bunkers, morchas and towers.
Regarding such construction work, protests have been lodged with Pakistan Rangers and Flag Meetings of the field commanders have been held in all the cases. The matter has also been taken up by the BSF with Pakistan Rangers during scheduled meetings,” minister of state for external affairs, E. Ahmed, told the Rajya Sabha on December 1.

That's the thing i like about Indians. They always ***** resources and logistics and then take a final decision. They do all the pros and cons and then decide course of action. They don't take any hurried action under emotional influence. Good decision at that point.

Well Isreal Fighters were already landed in East before..to destory the Kahota Plant in Pakistan....but were went back after Pakistan came into know......Secondly every country has right to do in its land what they want..........India can also built bunkers ror Morchas.....nobody is stopping them.

People like you need a crash course on what humanity is. do you want India and Pakistan have the same fate that of present day Iraq. were case of lukimia, birth defects in children are attributed to the use of depleted urnaium shells. if depleted uranium can do that much damage, think about how much damage can result with the detonation of nuclear and thermonuclear weapons our our countries.
I know one thing for sure that you are not a techi to understand what uranium can do to humans as you are one of the mullhas who do the warmongerring all day without calculating or foreseeing the consequnces of war.

War mongering has been temporarily put on the back burner, but Pakistan will gear up for a war with India after the WOT is sorted out. Remains to be seen how far china assists Pakistan in this war.

India has to be prepared for that.

There is no International or mutual treaty which stops Pakistan for constructing bunker and watch tower on its own land.
But yes there are treaty that India is not allowed to construct any military installation on LOC and occupied Kashmir,but India violated it by mining and fencing LOC during cease fire,

What has pakistan got to do with gujrat riots? Did pakistani national die?
In any case the above information is provided in the parliament, which govt has to do, if asked specific questions.
