Pakistan welcomes venture’s willingness for negotiated settlement after Reko Diq mine ruling

Obviously Harvard would push privatization. If you want to sell our companies to foreigners, be my guest.

They'll just reap most of the profits while giving out measly taxes. I'm sure you read my post in this thread where I said that of the top 5 most revenue making companies in the world today, top 3 are state owned Chinese. And they have seen the most growth in revenue earned too.

At the end of the day, Pakistan will do what's best for itself, not what we may think is best.

Let's see if they privatise or keep the companies under the state. :D

- logic

+ You dare sell to foreigners

- ur local friendly game logic

+ You dare sell to foreigners. Talk logic!

- links Harvard article

+ Jewish foreigner Harvard conspiracy, i didn't read it btw.

If you don't give me summary of that article, I am not talking any longer. Your answer makes it clear you didn't even read jackshit.
People smh, dying to get into western schools but any articles from their contributors is "of course they would want it, they be jewish foreigners"

i didn't read it btw.

I did read it. Just because I didn't discuss the article doesn't mean I didn't read it.

Btw, did you notice all the accomplishments listed in the first few paragraphs of the governments and their projects??

Would you like to privatize the army too? Like Blackwater??

At the end of the day, there is so much you can privatize. But the most important assets, like the Pentagon and their brainchild, DARPA.

DARPA is the one that made the precursor to the internet, which we use today, it funded many aspects of the internet which we use today.

Now tell me, is DARPA a public or private company?

Who funded the Space Race?? Whose funding the Space Race 2.0??

Who has heavily invested into Space X and ventures??

You talk about logic, yet you don't use any. You call me a conspiracy theorist but what I say has already happened in other countries.

Don't get me wrong, I don't "Hate" privatization but this isn't the time to privatize our companies.

From what i heard, the contract was for 75% shares of the foreign company and 25% Balochistan govt. Is this correct and is this the international standard for all mining projects. If it is then it sounds unfair that the country having the resources only gets to keep 25% of the shares.

No we definitely have the technical skills to atleast enter into joint ventures with foreign companies. Why is Engro able to mine and process Thar coal? The fact is corrupt politicians probably gave this company the contract because they were receiving kickbacks, keep in mind this company isn't even a big name in the field of mining.

did you compare the technical expertise in coal mining to that of Gold mining? Coal processing? ......

OK.

OK.
I did not compare... read my post again three four times. Maybe then my message will get past the charbi in your brain and enter the grey matter.

Not that Pak is giving a dime to anyone!!! Even the “Last Afgans” weren’t enough....

yes you did.

"Why is Engro able to mine and process Thar coal? "

What else does the above statement mean?

Not the first time you have run away when faced with facts.

Oye chutiyay apnay kaam se kaam rakh rundi ki ulaad

You are an intellectual coward.

There is a news floating around that apparently the parties have reached an agreement in which they will drop their claim for the fine and in return they will be allowed to operate the mine.

If true this is a major success.

Can anybody shed a light on this and also what would be the terms of operations.
