ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday stated that it is against any attempt to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar al Assad.

Solely proves that Pakistan is an independent state which can freely decide, , when there was an election in Syria approved by all sides and Assad was chosen by majority, only headless monarchies around Persian gulf would have resisted against the will of Syrian nation. One day a minority of Syrian people wanted Assad to leave, hence peaceful protests peaceful demands, but after being abused by western backed terror groups nowadays everyone of Syrians wants him to fight terrorism in Syria.

Well to be honest i am suggesting to stay away from syria since we are not involved but as for afghan problem we were a part of it all along so have no choice but to help solve or least help the world find a solution ..

We should support Assad.

The reason is this.

Assad government is UN recognized. Assad is a legitimate president of Syria and he has a considerable support in his country. He is fighting a war against foreign backed terrorists and international agenda (read Israel) to destroy and dismember Syria. So far despite extreme odds, he has done well.

This model of toppling governments through proxies must be condemned and opposed. The same people who lecture us on there being no good or bad terrorists are fighting against Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and using Al Qaeda to promote their geopolitics in Syria. If we dont stand against this new imperialism, we too will be victims of this soon.

Those who advocate being neutral dont understand that neutrality helps the aggressor. So in essence being neutral means being on the side of the aggressor.
