Pakistan wants peaceful Afghanistan. Thousands have already died, no more deaths.


Its up to the people of Afghanistan to deicide who they want as rulers.



Only thing Pakistan want is the war not to spill over into Pakistan. Over 70,000 Pakistani have laid their lives in war on terror. No more Pakistani deaths.

If the refugee crisis arrises , some militants will certainly cross over and will be used by foreign agencies notably RAW to target Pakistan.

In spite of the Taliban doing everything they can to avoid civil war erupting, India is emerging as spoilers, strengthening the Malitian fighting force and providing additional ammunition. The ammunition supplied by Air can be transported without using our airspace, however, delivering the ammunition by truck rather than by plane does not make sense unless the Iranian government is playing another game here and allowing the truck to flow across his border.

Clearly, it appears that India is seeking to start a civil war in Afghanistan at any cost in order for it to be used as a weapon against Pakistan by the Taliban in the future. A narrative game that India plays with us in 1971, in which India plays with us a series of events, including the hijacking of an aircraft, the Mumbai assault, and a laundry list of false flag plans that include a series of false flag incidents. Pakistan must be extremely cautious and be aware of every move that is made by India in order to prevent this from happening. It just takes one weak point on our part o and the Indian side to gain political advantage in the international community.

Why would Iran want Pakistani controlled proxy on its border ? Iran would look at Afghanistan as extension of its sphere. Dari is the primary language of Afghanistan.

Everyone knows that Pakistan created the Taliban.. this is common knowledge. On several occasions Pakistan has been hit by its own creation as well. Let's hope the Taliban is not as reckless as before.

Pakistan and the international community need to plan for the refugees. Pakistan's position should be to take the shortest path for Afghanistan to become stable and end the civil wars.

We won't be taking refugees. The war is over. Stay in your country.

Get outta here.. Pakistan is not here to fight the Taliban.. Not an enemy to the Taliban but it won't allow any spoilers to prolong the war...... as the envoy said here.. This is a warning and believe it or not Pakistan will deploy heavy and big time.. Destroy anything on it's path until it gets what it seeks which is peace perferably power-sharing between taliban and afghan gov't but it won't tolerate separatism or prolonged conflict that can cause chaos refugees and economical crisis on it's borders.. Again Pakistan is not enemy to the taliban and it actully perfers the IEA since they are the most powerful side but make no mistake it will help the stronger sides IEA/AFG eliminate any sort of separatism, warlords or all of that weak small things that can raise their heads...

In just few minutes PK airforce will penetrate Afghan air-space with heavy bombers and 100+ fighter jets... Any separatist elements against Taliban/Afghan-govt will be bombed to kingdom come...

Pakistan will also deploy heavy troops if necessary and things do go as it seeks..

This kind of day dreaming i usually expect from Indians when it comes to Pakistan. But here a citizen of a country which cannot even afford to supply its citizens affordable sugar is day dreaming of “bombed to kingdom come”. Dumbest post i have read in a while.

In the long run Pashtuns form their own country like the Tajiks, Uzbeks, Turkmens. the only thing that has not been decided is its borders

KABUL: Pakistan's ambassador to Afghanistan urged the international community on Saturday to strengthen the country's security forces, warning that deploying militiamen against Taliban could worsen the situation in the war-torn country.

The Taliban have launched a blistering offensive across Afghanistan since early May, capturing a vast swath of the country as US forces leave the country after 20 years.

With the group claiming to control 85% of the country, several warlords have started mobilising fighters to defend their territory and back government forces against the Taliban.

But Pakistan's ambassador to Kabul, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, warned that this could make things worse.

"If things translate into some kind of warfare between militias and Taliban, it will be dangerous," Khan said in an interview with AFP.

"Therefore, it is important that Afghan government's capacity to defend these attacks and these security challenges is strengthened."

On Friday, veteran warlord Ismail Khan — whose forces helped topple the Taliban in 2001 — vowed to back government forces fighting against the group.


Pakistan's envoy Khan said more international cooperation was needed in support of President Ashraf Ghani's government, which he said was a "legitimate government at the moment in Afghanistan".

"Therefore all the countries, the international community, have to extend all possible support to Afghanistan in dealing with the security challenges," Khan said.

He also expressed concern that a worsening situation in Afghanistan could trigger a fresh wave of refugees crossing into Pakistan.

"If the situation continues to worsen and deteriorate in Afghanistan... there can be an influx of refugees because of very close cross-border cultural contexts and religious context existing between our two societies," he said.

"Our first effort or first focus is to avoid things going into that direction," he said, insisting that a political solution was the only way to resolve the conflict in Afghanistan.

"If there is an inclusive, broad-based and comprehensive political settlement, it will be in the interest of not only Afghanistan but all of Afghanistan's neighbours."

this is a good point, that ignoring the national government and instead supporting other groups goes totally against the entire war effort and establishing a government in Kabul.
unless the parties engaged in supporting individual warlords have the exact plan to bring the country into a civil war then its understandable their actions are malicious and Kabul regime must call them out instead of just bitching about Pakistan.

I dont think so. but its not taliban that Iran is worried. Iranian regime has constantly supported Taliban in their fight against eh NATO occupation forces and see Daesh as their main enemies as well as the occupation forces.

this is nothing to do with supporting or hating on Iran.
the argument between you and the other gentleman is invalid because both Taliban and Iran have been partners in their opposition against the NATO forces and the American mischief of bringing ISIS in Afghanistan.
I recall watching BBC news where the British troops were complaining that Afghan taliban were using Iranian made small arms and Mortars supplied by Iranians in their fight against the NATO forces.
as long as they remain focused and understand that their main enemies are the Daeh and the occupation forces and they enter a compromise with all other ethnicity in Afghanistan then there is chance for peace.

That is a cop out! If I really hated iran then I wouldn't have more than 6 irani friends! one can dislike a nation's policies and not hate its people!

my view is that the pro irani northern alliance is finished. secondly enemies of the past are friends today. iran was very anti taliban. today taliban is the need of iran and the regional nations.
