This guy has no answers.

The first and last solution to Pakistan's problems is taming these out of control generals. Their woes are getting bigger by the day. These generals will drag Pakistan into abyss if they are not stopped.

The people themselves are the issue, the generals are no doubt incompetent but Pakistan has not produced a single good quality leader in literally decades, the people all have sheep mentalities.

Imran Khan himself is sub-par, if we followed his security policies that he once suggested you'd be in an even worse position.

It was Imran Khan opposing the fencing of the Durrand line by the way at one point, freeing captured terrorists, calling terrorists as "naraz brothers" and wanting to provide citizenship to Afghan refugees...

On international platforms he literally blamed Pakistan for terrorism. His security policies would literally lead to a 1000x worse militancy than now. A national security risk. This is supposedly the best we've got.

In my opinion they should bring him back but give him redlines against things that would compromise national security and tell him to stop being a pacifist. He needs to act more like a nationalist.

here is how I view it. after the British left, Pakistan was entered into a remote colonial phase with the help of ayub khan. As the power shifts towards israel, there is an attempt to recognise our new master.

the military needs to be tamed. I kick myself for defending the military. all those who used to point out the weak link in Pakistan is the military. its true. its them alright.

There is no solution to Pakistan's problems unless Army is kicked out of politics and its role reduced to what is defined in the constitution.

We were always told if army role is reduced, corrupt politicians like Zardari and Sharif will loot the country bringing to its knees. Well guess what! The Army is biggest backer of these corrupt politicians and its been revealed after regime change operation that army leadership and these corrupt politicians were one and the same.

We have been pushed into American wars by Zia and Musharraf. Now the army establishment is trying to pull America in another war so that it starts getting the drug called aid again.

The questions must be asked. Every COAS has told the nation that terrorism back has been broken. Then how come terrorism comes right into centre of Islamabad!? The COAS and the army are paid servants of the state. They are not rulers. They must be asked questions and they are liable to respond.

If DG ISI can do a press conference on politics, against Imran Khan, where the hell is DG ISI now when terrorism is again knocking at the door?

The solution is a stable, democratic government, with thieves in jails and army at the border. How hard is it to understand and implement?

Doesn't matter how many new forces you create, it's American policy to slither it's ways through the cracks into regional politics through blackmail, destabilisation tactics or whatever means necessary.

Ultimate goal should be self-reliance where we don't need to rely on America and have a balancing force to fend off American advances in the region, probably which only China can do.

The current army just needs a wake up call to stop desperately trying to imitate American culture, it's cringe and embarrassing. And to let go of red carpets and lavish unnecessary expenditure - you aren't kings or superior beings. Only then will they begin to do their jobs properly with competency once they are brought back down to Earth with the Pakistani people.
