LAHORE - Pakistan wants to resolve all issues including Kashmir, Siachin and water disputes with India, besides promoting bilateral trade, people-to-people contact, and cooperation in health and education sectors, PPP Secretary General Senator Jahangir Badr said on Wednesday.
Talking to reporters at Wagah border before leaving for India, he said the delegation’s visit was part of the fourth round of Pak-India dialogue aimed at improving bilateral relations through parliamentary diplomacy.
“This visit will also help improve the people-to-people contact between the two neighboring countries,” he said.
He said the delegation had representation of all the four provinces that would help further the dialogue process at governments’ level.
“Our visit will not only help strengthen the friendship but also usher in a new era of better bilateral ties,” he said. To a question, he said better relations between Pakistan and India would definitely ensure durable peace in South Asia. “We are striving to transform South Asia into a strong trade block like Euro Zone.”
The delegation other head, Haji Adeel said since both countries had fought two wars during the last 65 years, it would take some time to strengthen friendship, adding, “Our visit is also focused on to tell Indian politicians that we want to resolve all issues through friendship.”
He said on behalf of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister, he would invite the chief minister of Behar, India, to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Senate Deputy Chairman Sabir Baloch said they would bury the past mistakes and initiate a new era of cordial relations between the two sides. “We wish to discuss with Indian parliamentarians, the issues of mutual interest including local bodies, trade, health and education,” he added.

u should concentrate on opening your kebab shop after PPP rule ends in NOV and leave the delicate issues to those who understand that ..
That's a bit too far fetched but then aiming high doesn't hurt no one.“We are striving to transform South Asia into a strong trade block like Euro Zone.”
