Who is COAS to say Pakistan doesn't need the money? Pakistan needs the money. There's no doubt about this. Where does he think all that CSF & aid money goes? Straight into Pakistan's dwindling foreign exchange reserves.

I believe aggressive US policy towards Pakistan will make things complicated for US as well. Time and again Pakistan has suggested to fence Pak- Afg border to ensure controlled entry, but there was no positive response from Afg and US. However Pak has started doing so at its own. The solution is simple, block the border and take them on in Afghanistan as we are successfully doing within our territory. Unless free movement of terrorists across the border isn't stopped which allow them to slip across the border once they face military action, situation won't change. Blaming others for own failures doesn't make sense.

You could have said no. Why did you bow to US wishes to join the war? Your army knew that backlash will happen and there will be a lot of damage, still you joined the war. Its short-sightedness of Pakistan Army and other establishments.
