We made serious mistakes and the biggest blunder was not playing an extra spinner at this pitch. When likes of part timers, Asad Shafiq and Harris Sohail can pick up a wicket than why not a regular one, especially looking at Sri Lankans. Aamir looked under par so his career in test matches hangs in balance.

poor team selection. poor game plan in 4th innings. pak should have played attacking cricket in the 4th innings. attacking cricket doesnt mean moving down the track on every bowl foolishly like sarfaraz. both sami aslam and shan masood are no talent players. asad shafiq dropped two catches and did nothing with bat. pak should have gone with more spinners. ramzan is over gentlemen.

amir is not effective on dead pitches and even if he creates an opportunity fielders happily drop the catches. the visionary inzi will include legendary wahab riaz in the next match.

but amir's performance in test cricket is really below par. only one wicket in two tests. his fitness is also questionable. in this year he left the field twice. once against india in CT and against SL in 2nd test. pak should go on with the current bowling line up. amir may be included only on tours of australia, england and south africa. he is totally not suited for asian wickets.
