No my friend. Fakhar Zaman has NEVER looked like a talented player to me! Scoring once every few innings and then sitting on your laurels and your 'potentials'. His Champions Trophy thingy against India was memorable for its 'impact' but even that innings was full of chances and luck.
Today the oldies like Malik and Hafeez proved again: Even out of form they perform!
And I believe once Malik and Hafeez fade into the oblivion the last of what I call the 'long players' of Pakistan's cricket team will fade away. And I have seen cricket for a very long time.
To me: Only Miandad, Inzimam, Younus Khan, Mohd. Yousuf, Misbah qualify as true 'long players': Those who could play for 200 overs in tough conditions again and again. Hafeez and Malik are the 2nd tier to them but they are the last ones.
Scotland beat BD in group stages to get into Group BScotland looks like the worst team in this tournament?? Or is it BD??
What about Babar and Rizwan? They look to break all records of the long players from your list.
