With a railgun, you can hit Delhi from Islamabad. I am sure once the escalation gets to a certain point, China will have no better option than to jointly deploy with PA a railgun in Gwadar that covers Mumbai and can defend Maldives from that direction.

Pakistan is using US anti-tank missiles and heavy mortars to target Indian army bunkers along the Line of Control (LoC), a report said today.

At least 10 Pakistani soldiers and 9 Indians have died in ceasefire violations on the LoC this year, Hindustan Times reported.

Pakistan has been using US TOW-2 anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and 120 mm heavy mortars to target Indian bunkers in the Rajouri and Poonch sectors, the report said.

Pakistan purchased Raytheon’s TOW 2A anti-armour missiles from the US for self-defence needs and in support of US operations against terrorists in Afghanistan.

“On the face of it, Pakistan is offering talks at the level of Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) ostensibly to enforce ceasefire along the LoC, even as it is terrorists, like it did in the February 6 attack in Srinagar, to escalate violence to destabilise the Valley," a senior army officer said.

Meanwhile, south of the Pir Panjal, it is using ATGMs and heavy mortar to target the civilian population and at the same time push terrorists across the borders under the cover of fire, the officer said.

Four soldiers including a Captain were killed on Sunday when Pakistan Army used missiles and heavy caliber mortar shells to hit Indian posts.

Pakistan is also using heavy caliber long-range weapons including 120 mm mortars, which has a range of seven kilometers, and 82 mm mortars, having the range of 4.5 kilometers, to inflict maximum damage deep into the civilian areas.

The weapon which is discussed is one of primary ATGM of PA so they will not waste it on LOC where economical HJ-8 and other effective weapons are available.

During the Doklam stand-off, PLA was shown on TV using old HJ-8 to blow up simulated Indian bunkers.

Who cares what systems we use? Even if it is American Tow missiles? So? We have tons of other American hardware I.E F-16 which we paid for and will use whenever necessary? Are we banned from using American made weapons against India? If so by who?

No Pakistan is not banned but why give false praise to American weapon when we didn't used it. It was Chinese missile that destroyed Indian tank.

The officer belonged to Army Service Corps (logistics) and the soldiers to Jak light infantry.
