Uncle Sam have a history of ditching its friends or the one she calls friends.....this will not be the 1st time, the blame also lies on those who don't learn from history...

Compared to India, United States has not true interest in Pakistan at all. We are not a large trading partner and we are not a substantial market for American goods or services. We also have a curse attached to us that we are Muslims. Neocon and Jewish establishment in Pentagon are extremely careful to let any Muslim country develop and grow fast. Believe me or not, their hardliners are worse and more irrational than our Muslim extremists. The only thing is that they are far more high-handed in pursuing their anti-Muslim policies. They took on Iraq by extreme deceit (hardliner neocons deceived everyone including their own nation and started pretending sorry after having achieved their objectives). North Korea is far far worse in terms of bravado, atomic weapons and missile technology but nobody in Pentagon wants a military adventure in North Korea. Iraq had none of these things that North Korea has but was attacked at the most flimsiest evidence because of the typical mentality of people in Pentagon. Iran was careful enough to not let them give an opportunity to force Iran back to stone age. Can you guys believe a lot of American conservatives(called neocons when they become extreme in their views) senators and Congressmen were repeatedly trying to force Barack Obama to not have any dialogue with Iran on uranium enrichment and instead attack Iran as Israel was demanding. Barack Obama had enough sanity since he is a democrat. Even democrats are not our friends but they would just not go to extreme irrational limits to make Muslim countries barren.

Do one sanity check. Compare the reports by United States now with those of previous years when support for militant groups was higher in Pakistan. I think our support for any militant group is at its lowest in history now but if American reports mention greater reference to militant groups in Pakistan now, it means that Uncle Sam knows that his interest in this part of the world is decreasing and now Uncle Sam wants to put on his typical polarized glasses to look at Pakistan as another Muslim country and use typical neo-conish Pentagon policies that they maintain towards Muslim countries.

We have to understand that no country is our great friend until we have a developed economy. But there are European countries that are very pacifist and have a more human approach to under-developed countries. Most of the European countries maintain good relations with us but they rarely engage in meddling in our internal affairs and almost never use cunning and deceit as is very typical for American foreign and defence infrastrucutre in our country. This sub-human approach to our countries that Americans have maintained is typical of American attitude because neocons control their foreign policy and Pentagon.

ISLAMABAD: US released the annual report for the terrorism in the world. The report emphasised the terrorism trends and the incidences in the world. Iran was termed as the state sponsoring the most terrorism incidences in the world.

An important section of the report was on Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. The section regarding Pakistan and Afghanistan is reproduced below which blamed Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in both Afghanistan and India.

The Pakistani military and security forces undertook operations against groups that conducted attacks within Pakistan such as Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).” However it accused Pakistan for not taking substantial action against the Afghan Taliban and Haqqani network. “Pakistan did not take substantial action against the Afghan Taliban or HQN, or substantially limit their ability to threaten US interests in Afghanistan, although Pakistan supported efforts to bring both groups into an Afghan-led peace process.”

The State Department further pointed out other un-designated extremists groups saying, “Pakistan has also not taken sufficient action against other externally-focused groups such as Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), which continued to operate, train, organise, and fundraise in Pakistan.”

It said that ISIS/ISIL announced to establish its formal branch in Afghanistan and Pakistan, ISIL-Khorasan (ISIL-K) last January. “The group primarily comprises disenfranchised members of the Afghan Taliban and TTP. At year’s end, the majority of the group’s attacks were against Afghan government, Taliban, and civilian targets, although the group also claimed a small number of attacks in Pakistan’s settled areas.”

The report said that India continued to experience terrorist attacks, including operations launched by Maoist insurgents and transnational groups based in Pakistan. While, Indian authorities continued to blame Pakistan for cross-border attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. In July, India experienced a terrorist attack in Gurdaspur, Punjab; the first in Punjab state since the 1990s, the report said.

Pakistan has been US ally for the last 15 tears in its Global War On Terrorism (GWOT). Pakistan has sacrificed more than 50,000 lives and over $118 billions loss to economy during during this GWOT.

Pakistan provided Logistics and administrative support to US as it’s bases were used by US in its war against Afghan Taliban and AlQaeda.

The backlash of the Pakistan support to counter terrorism operations gave birth to Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan TTP, a notorious terrorist group responsible for majority of the terrorism attacks in Pakistan.

As the majority of the US Forces have exited Afghanistan and presently around 9,800 US troops are stationed in Afghanistan for operation “Resolute Support” , US probably does not require any more Pakistani support in its war against terrorism in Afghanistan.

However the change in US attitude and foreign Policy towards Pakistan is seen obviously. Few incidences would depict the entire scenario.

1.US has started to accuse Pakistan for all the unrest in Afghanistan blaming it for the support to Afghan Taliban and Haqqani network.

2. US has started to consider Pakistan against the US interests in Afghanistan.

3. US has not acknowledged Pakistan sincere efforts towards peace in Afghanistan through QCG process.

4. US intentionally killed The Afghan Taliban Commander Mullah Akhtar Mansoor inside Pakistan to make sure that Pakistan is labelled as terrorism supporter inside Afghanistan.

5. US has not stopped drone strikes in Pakistan despite of repeated Pakistani requests to do so.

6. US has no interest to Pakistan’s logical and strategical interest in Afghanistan as Pakistan has repeatedly asked US Government through evidences to stop Indian anti Pakistan activities in Afghanistan.

7. US is intentionally promoting India inside Afghanistan which is creating troubles for Pakistan from its consulates in Afghanistan.

8. Afghan Intelligence Agency National Directorate of Security (NDS) is involved in sabotaging acts in Pakistan but US didnot mention anything regarding this in its annual report.

9. RAW agents are caught red handed in Baluchistan but US has not uttered anything against this in its annual report.

10. Pakistan unlike 1990s era has stopped all kind of support to Kashmiri Mujaheeden in Indian Occupied Kashmir but still Pakistan is blamed for terrorism in India.

11. The blame of Indian false flag operations has been put on Pakistan to make Indian lobby happy.

12. Pakistan is being denied just 8 F-16s while reportedly India has been given an offer of either F-16 or F-18 factory inside India.

13. Pakistan has been denied the NSG membership while India is supported by US in its NSG membership.

Last but not the least the shift in US foreign policy is the replica of the US Policy which Pakistan faced after the Soviet War where Pakistan had to face nuclear related sanctions.

The shift in US Policy is seen imminent and the National security Policy makers in Pakistan have been forced to think on the US future ambitions.

IS US DITCHING PAKISTAN ONCE AGAIN?

IS IT THE TIME FOR BREAKUP ?

US has, sure ditched Pakistan. But this time around things are entirely different. Unlike past this time we have shed our blood, jeopardized our national security and even sacrificed the life of our innocent children at school for a war which was not ours at all. While we are still busy cleaning the debris, it is ‘ruthless’ that instead of all this US is calmly walking away. One wonders what else can one country do for another.

Part of this mistake is by our policy makers.

The terminology of ‘War against terror’ with being Pakistan as an important ally/partner was abandoned after Bush admin left office, but we still repeatedly use it, thereby narrowing down the scope of our relationship with US on terrorism which otherwise could have benefitted us a lot.

Why AFPAK, was not checked and made to change, clubbing the name of Pakistan a sovereign and progressive country of 180 million with Afghanistan where there is no Governmental control over it geographically, only tarnished the name of Pakistan as a country with terrorism.

Despite giving huge space to the Americans in Drones, Salalah, Abbotabad the Non NATO ally has reached at point when merely 8 F-16’s were denied financing and the risk of sanctions appears to be just around the corner.

Our policy makers made colossal mistakes, because despite above it did not strike them to get political favors, have our Nuclear programme recognized, talk about getting membership of NSG, seek investment. It was but a poor negotiator. We never look beyond Aid, CSF and F-16’s.

Yes, US has used us and used us smartly, and having ditched us now they have found a new partner … India. Unlike us big ticket items like investment, nuclear cooperation a seat in UN security council is what it interest in.

US never ditched us. We ditched ourselves for US. We act like a 52nd state of US. A very sorry state of affairs. And will never change unless or untill a revolution may occur in our bearucratic or military establishment.

Pakistan and America are still allies. The only difference is that the Americans don't need Pakistan as much as they did. Result is less money flowing to Pakistan from U.S.

America is now focused in countering the Chinese so is arming everyone including all affected by SCS drama against China. India being the main counterweight here will be propped up on a pedestal until U.S is done using them aswell.

Pakistan should keep focusing on development and fighting extremism and push education and development . It's the only way forward.

And not to forget defence, anyone who tries it should get smashed.
