These Americans have only one way of communicating to Pakistan and that is through their US ambassador in this country. It is no coincidence that almost any interaction between these two country happens through the mega American embassy in Pakistan. Perhaps one of the most unhealthy and abnormal relations in the world today. It reeks with dishonesty.

What exactly is Pakistan offering that makes it so indispensable to US? Nothing much. US really can't do much about CPEC anyway. Things are changing in the region for US. Now it's all about dealing with China. And US knows Pakistan's position on China.



No one is stopping Pakistan from seeking military equipment from elsewhere. If this was the case, US would offering Pakistan more than a paltry 8 F-16s. Doesn't help that Pakistan wants more F-16s. The PAF Air Marshall said as so himself.

We remember their ill-advised deeds but we tend to overlook their good side and valuable support at different times. No wonder, this relationship remains unhealthy.
