Pakistan is urging China to ease pressures on the country’s minority amid warnings by rights groups that the minority in China face restrictions on religious activities and mass detentions in so-called “re-education camps”.

The appeal comes as Pakistan has had traditionally good ties with its large neighbor.

Pakistan’s minister for religious affairs, Noorul Haq Qadri, met Chinese envoy Yao Xing this week to discuss the situation of the religious minority in China’s western Xingjian province.

Mr. Qadri says such pressures could foment reactionary extremist viewpoints and urged Beijing to take concrete steps on the issue.

Analysts say Pakistan’s move is significant amid growing pressure on China over human rights violations.

The message given by the New Government of Pakistan was different and it was addressed differently to the Indian Government and a humble request to the Chinese Military.

You are quite right here, it has been addressed as an ethnic issue rather than religious one by the Pakistan Government as the target of the Chinese Military are the Indians who are being under monitored by the Chinese Radars which are being placed on the Xingjian province. People of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkhand and Nepal are seeing the real war over there which is the electronic warfare. Again the Pakistan military is saying to people of Jammu and Kashmir that they pains can be reduced by the Chinese military but as always people of Jammu and Kashmir State follows the religion and they are proud of being Indian Citizens.

Actually that was the message of the New Pakistan Government which is about defending Chinese interest.

New Pakistan Government in real have forwarded the message of the Chinese military.
