Pakistan - United States Mutual Defence Pact

The U.S. realizes that Pakistan needs to strengthen its conventional defense capabilities because U.S. knows if india attacks Pakistan and Pakistan retaliates with its nuclear weapons india will be destroyed. U.S. does not want to see this happen thats why they are going to give assistance to Pakistan.

That's an immature statement of false nuclear bravado, friend. You are talking about two nuclear rivals here. Consider the real life scenario; do you think another bigger nuclear rival would sit still and watch the show?

Any single attempt, yes even a single attempt by any nuclear weapons state recognized or not, will trigger a world war 3. Every single missile from every state without thinking will be launched. Today it is not 1945, where United States was the only possessor of nuclear arms.

There are 8 countries around the world in possession of nuclear weapons and a ninth one is in the process. As much opposed as I am to any country possessing such a disastrous weapon, if you apply logic here any nuclear attack would be returned with another nuclear attack, which is why world over today various armies and special forces are being trained more on counter-intelligence and abilities to detect nuclear command centres in enemy territories.

This tactic though might seem old fashioned in some way, is the best defense to avoid nuclear conflict; gather intelligence of the location of commands and destroy an adversary by just seizing his nuclear weapons.

Conventional war is the way conflicts will be solved today; nuclear weapons are only to act as deterrents.

Unless of course you are suggesting that fundamentalists and militants are about to get their hands on nuclear weapons of your country--something that the world bodies are expecting from your government not to happen, with United States and NATO countries being in the forefront of this serious demand and something that your government has promised the Security Council as well as International community.

Now that I believe you have come to the practical world of conventional conflict, I hope we can talk something as sensible as other members are speaking of here.
