One thing I noticed Pakistan Navy has absolutely no Gunship Helos. Are those required should we discuss here or not.

are you talking about gunship heli for navy ? ?

Basically, Navies do not require gunship helicopters as there is no specific requirement like there is in the Army against enemy ground forces. The Naval helo, will never go close to any enemy naval platform to use its guns anyway.

However, an LMG can be fitted in the helicopter if required.

Naval helicopters are armed with Anti-Ships missiles, Anti-Sub torpedoes & anti-sub depth charges. PN has all these weapons.

Close air support / assault support; Pakistan Navy marines might require it in the future if not something sophistical something like Z-9wa attack variant.

In the past month, the Navy has held exercises in Pakistan with 4 different nations now (Japan, Iran, UAE and Russia), this is a much welcomes sign i think.
