Pakistan TV dramas are too feminist, says watchdog

. .
That doesn't make it right ........ and its difficult because you make it so.
We make it so ?? . Tell me what do we do of our wife does liberal stuff which Islam doesn't allows. Like Infidelity , Unfaithfulness , Cheating on husbands , Wearing tight outfits , showing body and skin , making nameharams as their brothers .... Not respecting their In-Laws. A husband has to deal with a lot of work . And when he comes home to what ?? . A liberal wife ?? . And you say we make it difficult .

.
Ok bro I don't think we are on the same page. I said on the first page that a girl should look beautiful/hot for the husband because we are the providers. We work so many hours per week to house, cloth, and feed them. People are bond to evolve, girls especially. They watch dramas (become liberal perhaps). Trend of the 21th century is that these girls loose modesty. It is practically impossible to find a modest girl these days. So you gotta settle for a cupcake and turn her loyal for you. And that requires a lot of management. It is a business investment that you make the day you sign the Nikah document. You turn an average normal girl into a beautiful hot wife who is loyal for you and dresses as she loyal to you. For a marriage to succeed, the man needs to manage it.

I am a sister lol. Allah SWT says that good men are for good women and good women are for good men. If a man is patient and not willing to compromise, there are good, practicing, modest and hijabi sisters out there and in Pakistan too. The reason men say that they can't find any is because they aren't looking for her in the first place or aren't ready to wait for het to come around.

I said you make marriages ........ difficult for yourself. Else I don't see how its difficult.

Tell me what do we do of our wife does liberal stuff which Islam doesn't allows. Like Infidelity , Unfaithfulness , Cheating on husbands , Wearing tight outfits , showing body and skin , making nameharams as their brothers .... Not respecting their In-Laws.

I have yet to meet a wife who does all this. Honestly which world are you living? You make it like 99% cases.

A husband has to deal with a lot of work . And when he comes home to what ?? . A liberal wife ?? . And you say we make it difficult .

Yes why make it so difficult and dramatic .......... go buy a goat instead.

.
What .............
I know what he's meaning to say here but yes he did make it sound silly lol.

If marriage is an business investment for you, then stop looking for Katrina Kaif and start looking for the mother of your future children.

Katrina Kaif after giving birth to four children won't remain Katrina Kaif ....... she will become Kaif bai.

Sir you are not well-versed on this subject are you? I don't like to talk too much about personal affairs. But there should at least some discipline to liven the marriage.

Pakistan's television channels are producing dramas that are too feminist, the country's media watchdog has said, complaining about an absence of "children and men" on the box.

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) singled out soap operas' fixation with storylines involving women and their mother-in-laws.

Local dramas and soap operas, many of which seek to challenge conservative taboos, are immensely popular according to ratings.

Plotlines have involved social issues including domestic violence, child abuse, and misogyny.

But Pemra said such dramas depict a “hackneyed image of women and have confined themselves to feminist issues only, therefore, ignoring children, teenagers and men”.

The authority also blasted television channels for scandalising viewers with “intimate moments between couples” and “bed scenes”, ordering a clean up of the airwaves.

Dramas are glamourising infidelity, inappropriate dressing and drinking “in utter disregard to Pakistani culture and values”, it said, adding that hundreds of viewers had written in to complain.

“All TV channels are therefore required to stop airing such content in dramas and produce content in consonance with the socio-cultural norms as per aspirations of Pakistani society,” read a statement from the regulator.

The warning came as the government has been accused of a wider crackdown on media freedom and also of pandering to religious conservatives.

It was unclear how much notice television channels would take of the edict. Analysts said it remained to be seen how serious the government was about the issue and Pemra was often seen as toothless.

Sherry Rehman, a leading senator, said: “So basically Pemra only wants cartoon shows for content? What are “sensitive” themes? Women/people talking about their rights to life, education, careers, property?”

In October, Pakistan's supreme court said it would block Indian content on television after a petition from local producers.

Meanwhile on Wednesday Pakistan's chief justice upheld an earlier ruling that the supreme court would not allow Indian content on Pakistani channels because it "damages our culture".

In October, the court said it would block Indian content on television after a petition from local producers.

"India is shrinking the flow of water into Pakistan. Why shouldn't we close their channels?” Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar said at the time.

The nuclear-armed rivals have repeatedly banned each others television and films in tit-for-tat exchanges.

I don't know abiut anything else but women/girls in pakistani dramas are so so noisy.. I can never bear to watch 10 minutes of an episode.. Those women cry out loud, Snub and in general are very very agressive and noisy especially on hum tv . i fear new gen girls will be like that and hence i think its better to marry a non pakistani... Many a times. One thing i hate in a women is fast foul use of her tonque and voice. And in pakistan this is getting very common, i blame the dramas.

I happen to be father of three kids .... the eldest being 9.5 years old already. Please do educate me.

First of all, Katrina is off limits as she is a Hindu. Absolutely in any way, Muslim man SHOULD NOT marry a pagan Hindu girl... Girls can change. So a good girl can change over time (due to society, Dramas, etc.). And it is the duty of the Man to ensure the girl does not change into a liberal.

The mental image ...

Cheers, Doc

My buddy here wants a hijabi girl ...... who should be hot and beautiful because he is going to invest when he is signing his nikah ...... and then perhaps she should be well versed with the secrets of lingerie ... the private sessions ...... but out in public back to hijab. Like seriously a naughty hijabi girl.

Mashallah.

Like I said I don't get into personal matters because they tend not to be adhesive on my philosophies. Nonetheless, I have presented a sufficient wise philosophy of marriage. Bottom line and in simple wording, the Man must control the woman. She must not become too liberal, because that pertains to a lot of problems.

Astaghfirullah!

Brother please do not poke fun at me personally! I don't like the expression "Hijabi girl" because it divides girls into distinct groups (others being non-Hijabi, semi-Hijab, etc). There SHOULD NOT be a large number distinct groups of girls, especially in an Islamic society. I do not like classifying girls completely on the way they dress. Humans are a complex form of creatures, and even more complex are their livelihoods/personalities. Not every "Hijabi" is the same girl nor is every "non-Hijabi".

I cannot answer on the vulgar words that you have used. But I stay adamant that Nikah is signed is an investment deal. You are signing to invest each other hearts for one another. Thats called loyalty. The Man ensures this loyalty is strong and lively by managing the actions of his wife.
